First time visiting Sky in the dining room. We had attended a special event in one of their function rooms, which was a buffet-style meal. The dining room is spacious with high ceilings. As a result, the noise level was a little on the high side, despite the room not being filled. I would worry a little if the room was full, just how noisy it might have been. Service was excellent. Our server, Erica was attentive, friendly and professional and took very good care of our party. Food arrived quickly and was largely error-free (my wife's plate needed to be redone because of mistakes in the side dishes). The food was good quality. My Caesar salad was fresh and crisp with a lively, lemony dressing. Entrees were good - the chicken wraps were a little onerous to manage, and were eaten more as a salad. The sausage flatbread pizza was excellent. My flat iron steak was cooked perfectly (black and blue) and had a nice black pepper rub. The steak tips were a little overdone but were still tasty. My wife's filet was cooked perfectly. We shared a number of desserts - chocolate cake, apple pie, creme brulee and an ice cream sandwich cookie, all very tasty and pictured below. We did have a brace of cocktails to start, which all but my wife's Mojito were very good. Her Mojito was terrible - too sweet and with an odd metallic flavor (Rose's?). We stayed away from the wine list because the markup was excessive... between 3 and 4 times the retail cost, which is really too much for fairly pedestrian bottles... Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and might return again in the future.
The only complaint I have about the meal many of us ordered was that the green beans were very under cooked and way too crunchy.
Appetizers were very good, service was very good, but the main course and dessert were not very good. Everyone on if our 12 guests had something different and not one was wowed by it. We went during the afternoon, so maybe the chef was not the finest of staff.
Getting together with family after a weekend soccer tournament. Mom, dad, and Grampy took the Soccer star to a nice place. Ryan, our server, was a great guy.
He didn't think he was giving us great service, but he really did. Can't imagine what he thought great service was. We were very happy!!
Friendly and clean. Offers good food. The service was slow which is typical for Sky. One of the orders came with the wrong side of veggies and the wrong steak temperature. We still enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance.
The service was extremely slow! Our server was polite and somewhat attentive, but long periods of time passed - waiting for our food with no updates, waiting to have table cleared and order dessert, waiting for dessert, waiting for check... all much TOO long.
Had a decent enough meal here; I had the prime rib and my mother had the "land & sea" and she was very pleased with her stuffed shrimp. So much so that she wished that they were offer by themselves.
Place was a bit loud, but it was the most crowded I've ever seen it. Then again, it was Mother's Day. Regardless, everyone at the dinner had a great time.
The atmosphere was good and service very quick. Seemed like we were being pushed out too quick. The food was good except one meal (the cod) missed the mark. Desserts were excellent. Due to the price of a meal and it not having flavor, I probably would only go back for dessert and drinks. Atmosphere made up for the bad dinner I had.
We did the Mothers Day Sunday buffet. Everything was well prepared and there was a wide selection.
This is really my favorite place to go to...superb service, excellent food and even more amazing cocktails. It's my husband and I's favorite date night out! I recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!
Server was very good, but the kitchen was very slow 45 minute between salad and meal.
I was extremely disappointed with the service. The waitress was slow and didn't check to see how we were doing. It took a very long time for the food to come out and we never got dessert! It was the night before Mothers Day and there should have been more help.
The food was horrible! Service even worse
A very pleasant surprise! While traveling we wanted to find a good steak house and this was outstanding! Cooked to perfection, good wine list, and service very prompt and pleasant. If we are back in the area again will definitely go there!
Sky never disappoints. The food was delicious and our server was exceptional! Lauren was very attentive, funny and very personable.
I felt like the food was a bit expensive for the quality. The make your own chicken lettuce wraps was a bit messy and awkward item to have on a menu. The shrimp and scallops I ordered was over cooked and for the price I was expecting perfectly cooked seafood. My wife had the lobster club which was mostly just beef steak tomatoes in white bread w/ light lobster on top. We ordered a side of brussel sprouts, but they were under-cooked. They really should of been roasted a bit longer to give them that perfect crunch but the kitchen clearly rushed it. If the prices were lower I would of rated this place better, but dropping $100 for dinner I expect a certain quality, not that of Outback steakhouse.
Really good meal, great service.
Fair value for what is served both in taste, quality, and quantity.
I went here with my fiancee and her family to celebrate our engagement. Our waitress was very nice and our food came quickly. That said, prices seemed a little high for the quality of our food. Our steaks were lower quality than I would expect for the prices they were charging; they were cooked well but fatty. The ambiance was nice but there was a waterfall decoration nearby that was quite loud and made it hard to hear conversation. Overall, it's not a bad place for a date night or a nice dinner but it's a bit pricy for what you get.
The food offering was pretty extensive, the dining area impressive, the waiter Steve could not have been nicer or more efficient.
A great Sunday brunch, great variety of breakfast and lunch items. Presentation was very ice. Staff was very accommodating. Nobody rushed you out.
Sky never disappoints. They always have a tasty sangria ready to drink. The food is delicious with many different options to choose. My picky father said it was one of the best steaks he had eaten in a long time!
I've been to Sky before for brunch and had a nice meal. however, this past Easter when we were there for brunch the food was mediocre at best. The food was dried out and cold. They had mac and cheese and lasagna and both were cold and tasteless. This continued with the chicken piccata and vegetables. The best thing I ate was the fruit and bread pudding. This did not equate to the price I paid. Better luck next time. I will say the server was great and quite attentive.
Best Easter brunch ever! Everything one could want and very good service as well!
It was great for Easter Brunch but a little too dark in the restaurant area for BRUNCH.
Food was great! Service was great! The only thing that was odd was the choice of pop music they had playing in the background. It didn't exactly match the feel of the place.
One of our favorite restaurants. Beautiful decor and varied menu. A little disappointed that the wine I drink is only available in bottle size not by the glass. Some of the ingredients listed for entrees could not be understood and the waiter did not know the meaning of them either.
We have been several times and will go again.
Drinks were good, food was average. Prices were higher than average. Waiter was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous!
Would recommend for a special occasion!
Overall this particular experience would be considered subpar for a papa Gino's let alone Sky. Having worked in the industry, there's a saying about how your restaurant is only as good as your Sunday shift (because often, this is a day for your more experienced staff to be off)....well unfortunately this certainly rang true The 2 positives I can offer were that there was 1 younger, clean cut waiter who seemed attentive to everyone (not just his table) & the ambience was per normal. Restaurant itself was very clean as usual but finding multiple stalls in the bathroom w/o toilet paper, especially when not busy was disappointing. I'm pretty sure Amelia's in Stoughton will be getting our business now
GO FOR BRUNCH!! Wide selection...something for everyone
Not really impressed with the food for the money you pay. Sometimes keeping things simple is best rather than trying to get fancy. The food from the carving stationwas ok but other than that my wife and I were not impressed. Don't think we will go back.
I've been here about 7 times already, and this place never disappoints.
If there would be one complaint it would be the consistent slowness in terms of service, but the staff is courteous and the ambience is nice enough to keep us distracted.
The food is 100% awesome, no wrong choices in the menu. I also appreciate that the menu cycles periodically (not sure how frequently but over the course of a year it's changed at least twice).
The lounge area is the perfect place for watching sports, relaxing, or just getting some drinks.
Sky is our go to place to meet friends 1/2 way from Boston to Providence.
The wait staff - the food and just hanging out was great.
Server was phenomenal, my husband had a filet which he said was delicious, I chose the corned beef and cabbage to celebrate St. Patty's Day, the food was cold, the cabbage was barely done, the meat was not tender nor flavorful. We dine at Sky several times a year and are usually very happy so I was disappointed with my corned beef and cabbage.
Dinner was delicious and after a long hard week, the atmosphere was nice and quiet! The waterfall was very relaxing and the lighting was just right. 😀
Went for husband's birthday lunch. Great lunch selections on Friday and Saturday. Enjoyed seating in bar area and service was friendly and well timed. He had a burger with wonderful fries and I had a pecan chicken salad that was perfect. It was St. Patrick's day and there were some larger groups, but not too noisy to enjoy our treat.
We all enjoyed the brunch. We have been there before and knew what to expect and it was as good as always. Since it is all serve yourself, buffet style(except custom made omelets) , it was a bit pricey.
Only had apps in the bar, they were very good. Nice clean vibrant bar.
We went for a birthday celebration and the waitstaff was really good about handling it. They brought out a chocolate desert with a candle in it. It was nice and subtle with no singing, which is what he wanted.
Always a great experience. Lauren one of the servers remembers us every time she is amazing. Asked for her! The brunch has a good selection and the omelette station n and waffle and pancake station n is great.
