Sky Thai Sushi
California roll, 7 pieces of sushi
Lobster tempura, cream cheese, scallions, asparagus, avocado, spicy mayo, sesame seeds, tobiko rolled inside out
The menu is incredible and nothing on there is anything but delicious.
We used to love this restaurant
We always felt special
This time we felt rushed and everything was impersonal
The food was expensive and tasteless
We’ll try another sushi restaurant next time
My wife ordered some type of lobster sushi and I ordered the drunken noodles. She LOVED her lobster sushi roll, said it was fantastic!
Drunken noodles on the other hand were not at all appealing. The noodles were mushy and pasty. Inedible. I set it aside and ordered chicken cashew chicken and though it wasn’t standard to cashew chicken the flavor was good and I actually enjoyed it.
Side note: small boiled potatoes and fresh slices of tomato in these Thai dishes aren’t typical. The tomato really changed the flavor of the drunken noodles (yuck) and the potatoes in the cashew chicken were actually tasty, albeit slightly odd for this type of dish.
Bday dinner. Great peanut dressing and cashew nut sea bass
We will comeback excellent rolls and Thai food too
Absolutely perfect. Fantastic food. Great service. 10!!!
Stopped here for an early dinner. Super food from top to bottom. Started with King of The Sea soup, perfectly tangy with very fresh tasting seafood & thank you for not overcooking the calamari! Had Thai Fries & Chicken Satay for appetizers both served hot & were great tasting, love the sweet cucumber salad with the Satay. For entrees we had Short Rib Masaman Curry, some of the most flavorful I have ever had......and also had Panang Curry with Chilean Sea Bass, huge portion of fish cooked perfectly with a great sear. The portion was huge but it was so good I couldn't stop eating it!! Service was on point dir the entire meal.
Would love to come again & try sushi! Thanks for a great time!
Food was pretty disappointing especially for the price point. Appetizers under seasoned and bland. Sushi very mediocre. Service was all over the place. We have 4 different people taking our orders and bringing us food.
Always delicious and fresh. One of my favorites is the crispy duck and I had that as part of my red thai curry dish. It was outstanding. Wonderful ambience and very fresh.
Delicious food. It was a Sunday night so not busy and therefore quiet. Service was a bit hectic and difficult to understand the server but the excellent food made up for it.
This was a great experience My Husband and I decided to do a Saturday night date we wanted to try something different and this place exceeded my expectation. The restaurant wasn’t that far away from the parking garage the social distancing requirements were being followed and quite frankly we felt safe & welcomed.
The food was amazing!!! We started off with fried Shumai, Edamame, and crispy banana. The drinks were made to perfection and my husband tried the boneless duck and I had the sky lobster roll, presentation was flawless. We definitely will be back❤️
Fly in our drinks
Food and service was great!
Food is so-so. Not bad, some dishes better some less. Service is strange. Appetizers show up after the main course, very random. Price is very high compared to the mediocre quality. Won’t go there again.
welcome greeting/seating was perfect. Server started off extremely consistent, checked on us until he became distracted with another "regular customer". we waited for at least 20mins for him to stop by, then i got his attention for the check. The welcome was short-lived
Good food but no ambiance
We selected this sushi restaurant due to high amount of quality reviews and it being the recipient of the 2019 Sushi Restaurant of the Year in Fort Lauderdale. Since 2020 was cancelled, this seemed like a good option for quality sushi. Not so much. The sashimi we ordered was mediocre, chicken wontons bland, and specialty rolls served lukewarm and flavorless. The star of the evening wound up being the Thai Banana appetizer, which we ordered on a whim.
Tables all wobbled, chairs uncomfortable, tabletop and menus both sticky. I would not recommend nor return.
Lobster sushi was just okay and took a long time. Server was amazing and very friendly. The bagel sushi was my favorite!!
Service was veeeeeerrrrry slow. Instead of the waiter being alert on our needs, we had to stay alert for the waiter to pass and he may or may not look in our direction or choose to respond. Not sure the family collectively owns or separate owner. But seriously lacking in wait staff.
Red curry and fried rice was good.
the lobster pad thai was horrible, doesn't know how to make pad thai or the lobster which was tough.
I have eaten pad thai in many cities of the US and never tasted like this and pasta rolling in eggs.
Rude waitress slow service and food was not good
Food was great, but the service was lacking. It took 20 mins from sitting down for someone to take our order and another 15 mins after that to get even a glass of water.
Awesome great sushi
Loved it. Mitch from RSVP recommended it and was beyond great.
This place was great clean, fast service . The food was excellent
Great Valentine's Day dinner. Enjoyed the food and special attention from the owner Rob. Definitely will return!
Not a good first experience, the food was less that enticing. Service was not the greatest either
Okay food and some servers were nice but some rude
Love this place, though tonight the service was slow.
first time - great food and variety - there is a lot of choices for vegetarian, low carb or keto
Never a bad meal here. We had soft shell crab, jalapeño hamachi, lobster wonton soup, crispy duck, fancy lobster roll, Thai dumplings and pork goyza. All were yummy nothing but excellent.
Outstanding! Excellent! Consistent! Amazing Service. They get it right EVERY time.
We were a little concerned about our dine out due to Covid19 issues but were placed in an outside table and the server and staff were following protocols to the point, food was great and we did enjoy our first night out in a long time... will return
It was a great experience and one of the best Japanese restraints in Las Olas.
Good place for a quick bite if you are down on Las Olas or in the immediate area. Food was good, seafood was fresh. Reasonably priced based on the location and sorrounding choices. Good for small groups but not ideal if you are seeking an intimate dining experience. Covid seperation was good the night we were there; we had no concerns while we were dining. Some limited outside seating is available for small parties (4 or less).
Sat outside and that was nice. Food was mediocre. Disappointing spring rolls—seemed like frozen microwave style. We have had better volcano rolls elsewhere.
Great food and service
Fresh sushi & friendly service
I will be returning
Good...not great food. Our waiter was super nice, friendly, but really alow
Fresh, and delicious. Service is excellent. Safety protocols are very good. The duck red curry was fabulous.
Eat here at least once a month, always good
