Was good for couples however table service was poor only offered 1 drink then to try find staff around to ask for more drinks was just a task. We also got told to move our booked table to another which wasn’t a great table in the corner. No mention of the requests I put in and didn’t even acknowledge. It wasn’t even that busy
Went for a date night at the sky bar for afternoon tea. Staff were lovely always checking that everything was ok with the meal but not over the top. All round good service and lovely atmosphere
Lovely experience, such a beautiful place!
Food did not live up to menu expectations. Staff got our order wrong and did not ask how things were at any point. Would not recommend.
Attentive service and delicious cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere.
Didn’t have any food but what I saw of others they looked to be enjoying it (won’t let me leave rating above blank).
Appalling service, delayed food, wrong order, cold food which by the time eaten the breakfast buffet was shutting! Not worth the money.
Fantastic location. Menu wasn’t brilliant. Fantastic view but certainly worth saving until summertime. All staff were pleasant but not over the top.
This is a well maintained decorated location.
As residents we were given two free drinks vouchers. These were for house wine or other selected drinks. Not what we were drinking. Staff cashed them in to the value. No problem.
We really enjoyed the location, decor and relaxed ambience, it was perfect for our friends catch up with wine and nibbles, it is the first time I have been here but will definitely be returning, the staff were very welcoming and helpful
Service was slow, drinks were expensive and the music was too loud. Had to shout to hear anyone speak. Toilets hadn’t been cleaned, smashed glass everywhere.
Nice view. Nice atmosphere even though it was slightly empty when we arrived. There were 3 of us having afternoon tea. The tea itself was lovely. However, the afternoon tea was served on big black stands that looked like a naughts and crosses children’s game. Once on the table we couldn’t see each other and it was really difficult to talk so we were constantly trying to rearrange the table. Would be better if they served the savoury food first, then followed by the sweets and not all at once. The food itself was a good variety and suited all our tastes.
Not very impressed with this place. Alhough the view was amazing the cocktails were mediocre at best but the overall experience was like being in a night club. The music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak. We had 1 drink and left
I did enjoy my visit to the bar, however, I had booked a table and didn’t feel where I was seated was the nicest area, I would have preferred to be seated on the nicer side with the sofas, not where all the bar staff were retrieving their orders.
The music and ambience wasn’t right for me at all, it was totally deafening, I think the decor and handcrafted cocktails lent itself to something a little more upper class then loud dance music, perhaps some piano music. I would loved to have heard what the person I was with was saying but simply couldn’t.
Finally I was disappointed with my last drinks order, which after 15 minutes of waiting it became apparent had been totally forgotten so we left.
I think the idea behind the bar is nice but please don’t turn it into a nightclub, Allow people to relax, enjoy the view and chat.
I thought about eating there but it certainly was not the right venue for that at all, it was basically a nightclub with no dance floor, very strange.
Lovely quiet breakfast . Nice and relaxed. Food was nice.
Service was good too
Great experience with breakfast we had on Saturday morning , they don’t rush you at all and great service
Service was great and even gave us two free drinks for my mums birthday and a little sparkler in her Prosecco, little things but we thought they were lovely!
Nice views over Leeds and lovely food
Had afternoon tea. Lovely atmosphere. Disability friendly. Excellent service and lovely food
Really happy with everything. From the service to the drinks. Was made to feel comfortable and valued
I've been here twice and the first time was really great. I'm not sure why they still ask you to specify what occasion it's for when booking, because they didn't acknowledge it was our anniversary at all. Our recent visit almost tarnished the first experience (which was a year ago) because the service just wasn't as good. The guy who served us was great but the other guys working weren't as attentive.
However, our original visit for our first anniversary was great, they gave us a bucks fizz and congratulated us... and it's worth going for the view.
We were jumped on by the bouncer as soon as we arrived trying to dictate the law on drinking with food. As a result we decided against eating there.
Was too loud due to a dj and when we went outside to enjoy the view, it was ruined by people smoking!
Will not bother again. You guys need to think about the customer experience a bit more!
And I’m no prude but seriously half naked women with their boobs out?
And they asked my daughter for proof of age but not the boy who came in after her??? Why not?
We went for birthday cocktails and it was just what we wanted.
Service was slow considering only 3 tables in use . we got told to sit down and wait as they didn't open till 12pm . we didn't actually get our drink till 12.15pm after a table who came in after us was served .
Nice venue for afternoon tea. Excellent service friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Went on a Sunday evening - it was quiet with only around 6 tables occupied. However we was waiting a good 15 minutes with empty drinks before having to call the waiter over and then decided to get then bill rather than another drink or food which was the plan due to the poor service. The food only got a rating of 5 stars because the menu looked great (and i had to rate it) even though we didn't actually eat due to service.
Was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The view is amazing at night, one of the staff members even come out with blankets as it was pretty chilly out. The only thing is the cocktails are pricey, but really nice. Would return.
Lovely venue- great views of Leeds! Cocktails were delicious!
Went for afternoon tea, accommodated vegetarian options
Good service, very attentive.
Fantastic views from the balcony, cosy blankets and heaters to help keep warm and enjoy the view.
Afternoon tea didn’t live up to expectations nor represent good value for money
Service was excellent, very friendly and happy. Food was well presented, warm and tasty.
Terrible - no one came to serve our table when we had made a resevation. Also, it is not clear on the website that they only serve small bites on a saturday! Should be more clear and was way too lound to even hear the person sat across from me.
We had a lovely afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the food looked extremely pretty but thought it wasn’t enough in each selection.... it was a shame we picked a rainy day but there’s no control in the weather.....
Limited food choice and not a lot of it, bread stale and meringue shop bought. Average, not worth the money
Service was bad, had to ask for cutlery and food was getting cold while we waited. Service staff was unfriendly and not ver attentive. Disappointed all around
Although the service was good we found the to be a little on the scruffy side her apron was in need of a good iron and her white blouse was an off white.
The tea pots and cups were stained and in need of a good clean.
The seat I was sat on had a covering of one of the studs missing and was unable to sit back in case I caught my top on it
Because of this our experience was tainted with disappointment especially as it was a birthday present for my friend
We loved our time here. Our only criticism was that on three occasions we had difficulty attracting the attention on the waitresses, once we had to go looking
Came here for my 18th, really good cocktails and ambiance. Woukd recommed coming for the night
We came to the sky lounge for a birthday. We had booked and ordered the afternoon teas to be pleasantly surprised with a deal of 2 for £29.99. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and unlimited hot drinks with variety. The service was a bit slow from actually waiting to order to waiting for drinks and wanting to re-order drinks again. We were served by one member of staff who had informed us of an afternoon tea however the table next to us were told about a ‘new’ menu and had received another afternoon tea, we were a bit disappointed to not have received this. Overall it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend.
We celebrated our Wedding anniversary. Fran our waitress was very good, and made my husband a Hurricane Cocktail after we said we haven't found anywhere that does them. He was very impressed, and I am sure will will visit again.
I was absolutely shocked at the service! Iv previously been to cloud 23 in Manchester and it was 110% better than here. Sort it out
Our visit to the SKY LOUNGE was even better then expected- after reading raving reviews and looking at incredible reviews we was already excited for our visit, but experiencing it first hand was incredible. What a beautiful gem of Leeds.
This place was amazing. I took my sister for her birthday she loved the experience.
