Awesome live music, great food, entertainment and atmosphere!!!!
I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I had the house version of a negroni and the carpaccio, both of which were very good. The live music - jazz - is also a plus.
Really enjoyed our evening at Skulls. The history of the space, the great service, excellent food, live music - the entire atmosphere was just what we were hoping for.
Really great pleace highly recomended
Only reason for 4 star in food is this is ghe second time i ordered pork chops and they were little dry
Wonderful food ! Husband had prime rib and I had filet. Both were outstanding ! Nice atmosphere in historic Printer's Alley of Nashville. Would recommend
Took my mom here for Mother's Day dinner. I wanted something unique and knew prime rib was on the menu, which is her favorite. The prime rib was very tender, perfectly cooked, and quite a big portion. The sides were great and the atmosphere was great. Our reservations were for 5pm, and so I cannot comment on how it is later in the evening. Our waitress was very good. Although it has a limited menu, it was the highlight of our trip to Nashville.
The service was very good, Priscilla was our server and she was very good. The ambiance and music was very nice.
My fiancé and I dined here for our two year anniversary. I have been here on other occasions to see the burlesque shows, but this particular night there was a small trio musical group made up of a cellist, pianist and singer. They were great! The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends or for a romantic date.
Outstanding evening with delicious food and very well managed. Ambiance was fun and sophisticated. Highly recommend.
Nice evening with great food and jazz band in background. Good place to have a nice meal and get away from Honky Tonks and relax to a wonderful meal.
Glad we went! Reminded us of our local speakeasy.....
Super cool dining experience in Printer’s Alley. So much history in there! Cocktails were superb and our food was delicious.
Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, interactive performers.
Fantastic food and show was fun, must for date night when you are visiting Nashville
Extremely slow service. Pork chop arrived way overcooked. Inedibly dry. Fish dish (Mahi Mahi) was good.
Cocktails were the best part. Next time we may go for a drink, skipping dinner.
Our food and dinner atmosphere were amazing! The only thing we were frustrated with was that we were charged $20 cover for the show. One person told us on the phone that as long as we ate there we wouldn’t be charged cover. Then our waitress told us as long as we got there before 9 pm we wouldn’t be charged either. We got there before 9 and had eaten there only to be told we needed to pay $40 to get in. After spending over $200 for dinner that was frustrating.
Service could have been more attentive , engaging and friendly. Drinks took a while.
Came for my birthday and thought in was going to be just for dinner, but we caught the burlesque show. It was FANTASTIC! So much fun.
I have a long list of allergies and I contacted the restaurant beforehand to let them know. They let the chef know, made sure our server knew and took the best of care of me. The meal they prepared for me was amazing. Thank you all for making my birthday such a great night.
Fantastic, don’t miss when you’re in Nashville
What a fun place! The food was amazing and the service was good. Hubby and I went on a Thursday night and the place was packed. Definitely, need a reservation in advance. Well worth it! Band was playing when we got there, and we were pleasantly surprised the burlesque was happening after that. Must see!
A local recommended this to me and my colleague who were on business travel. The decor created a 1920s prohibition mood, the singer was pleasant, and food was outstanding. I would travel to Nashville again just to eat there again, but I would bring my husband instead of my boss (who is a nice enough guy).
Delicious food and an incredible dining experience. A must visit.
The jazz was a perfect complement to the food. Enjoyed!
Good food but noise level high. Food and entertainment are nice
Amazing food and a really cool atmosphere
Amazing will definitely be back if I am in Nashville again !
First night in Nashville
Great atmosphere & food
I had to book this reservation two weeks ago to get my desired time of 6:30. This was a very special event with good friends to celebrate my retirement. Upon arrival we were told the only table available was a high top in the bar area as the dinning section was booked for a private party. We politely asked why we were not told this when making the reservation. The hostess did apologize and told us if there were any tables available from the private party she would re-seat us. DUH??? However that made no sense and of course did not happen. The food was delicious but we had to ask our server several times for various things. Of course being in the bar area, conversation was impossible. With the prices you charge I feel we should have been informed of the private party booked in the dining area as we could have very easily picked another date and time.
Best rack of lamb ever.
The Skull Rainbow Room came highly recommended by friends and we were not disappointed. We arrived early and had cocktails which were delicious, albeit greatly overpriced. The food however, was incredible. We started with an appetizer of the foie gras which was very tasty and creamy. I ordered the Boeuf En Croute and it was extremely flavorful. The crust was light and flaky and the brie was creamy and tangy. Another member in our party ordered the Prime Rib With Au Jus and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. If I ever make it back to Tennessee I would definitely order the Prime Rib. Two other guests ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Not at all rubbery from overcooking like some restaurants. Finally, another diner in our group ordered the Pork Chop which was moist, incredibly flavorful and extremely thick. The portion was so big that he had to take half back to the hotel.
The service here was good. The waiter was very attentive without being overbearing and the ambiance was very charming. I suggest using Open Table to make a reservations as the place gets crowded very quickly.
Our second time to Nashville and second visit to Skulls! Excellent food and service! Loved the piano player and burlesque show! We will be back again!
The wait staff and manager were quick, attentive, and very accommodating. The prime rib was huge and delicious. The bar tender created a new drink the night we were there and it was amazing. The "cake jar" dessert was incredible. Great night out with no complaints.
Great restaurant. Food, cocktails, and wine were fantastic. The chef stopped by the table at the end of the evening and wished our mother a happy birthday which we were celebrating. The wait staff was on point all night. Would recommend this restaurant to others and will definitely go back when we return to Nashville.
The food was excellent, we had prime rib, rack of lamb, and the special of the night which was sole fish. No complaints with any of it, just feel they are very pricey. Would love to stay for music and also the burlesque show but we had early reservations.
We had a great time! Went for late dinner on a Friday so we could watch the Burlesque show. Food/drinks were excellent and reasonably priced.
Burlesque show was fun, and unique. Very crowded, but worth the trip and glad we made reservations and stayed for the full experience!
I had the diver scallops and my boyfriend had the prime rib. Both were perfectly cooked. The owner even brought me out a small plate of prime rib to have for myself! I was happily full, but pushed the envelope and had the lavender cake in a mason jar. Worth every bite! Music set the atmosphere and made this an amazing date night.
