Greta food, great value and great service. Highly recommend!
Fantastic fried chicken!
Talk about quality ingredients in great combinations. Everyone left satiated. I was surprised how reasonable the pricing for brunch was.
Best Cobb salad ever. Great for meeting up with friends.
We we’re recommended by a friend to have breakfast here. Well worth the walk from our hotel. Great service. Quaint atmosphere! Friendly staff. Delicious cinnamon roll with house made cream cheese. Lots of coffee refills offered! Reasonably priced.
Had a reservation. Got seated right away. Food and service was great!
Breakfast with reservation. Did not have menu item requested, as they had sold out. Food served was average in flavor and quality. Bloody Mary was thick and brown, served with tiny straw that repeatedly clogged. Drink flavor was not good. Overall it was an expensive price for average food. Ambience is good, as the diner “feel” is fun. Service was the best part. Overall, won’t be going back.
Food was great - I had the fried chicken breakfast burrito. Bloody Mary was delicious, went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning; not too crowded but gets very busy after 10:30.
First time at Skillet and we felt it didn't live up to hype. Stack of pancakes served lukewarm with COLD blueberry compote topping. My wife's kale salad had way too much dressing. Good OJ and bacon.
Our waitperson was delightful--attentive and good sense of humor. Many better choices in Seattle for the $$.
Huge portions. Almost overwhelming. I took my left over breakfast home and had 2 more medium sized meals from it. Very tasty food. Seats are close and we had young children on both sides of us. Maybe using the back room mostly for families would be a good idea. Servers were very good. Reservations definitely a must.
Yummy food, great service, electric atmosphere
Fathers Day brunch
I would recommend, however, our server was very obvious in wanting our table at the busy time. It would be another story if we were done with our food and taking up space, but the fact that he come over 4 times while we were still eating to ask “how are you doing? Are you finished?” while reaching for our plates was not a great experience.
We made a reservation for 5 and when we arrived were told the reservation was only for 4. We were able to find quick seating, albeit cramped, at a booth. Server was friendly, informative, and attentive. The guy who dropped off one of the plates of food acted visibly annoyed when we asked for another set of silverware (we were only given place settings for 4 people) but followed through with our request promptly, nonetheless. The wait for food was pretty long, especially with a small child in our party, about 30+ minutes for food after placing the order. The restaurant was packed so this could account for the long wait. Once we received our orders, the wait felt worth it! DELICIOUS!!! The boozy brunch cocktails and coffee also did not disappoint. Overall, a good experience and we will be back for more!
It hit the spot for breakfast. Lots of potatoes! Our server was very accommodating. Very nice place to sit down for a hot breakfast in Capitol Hill.
Get the fried chicken and waffles and the Bloody Mary’s!
Our sever was awesome! Food was good. The atmosphere is nice as well.
Wonderful food. Really sweet and accommodating wait staff
Be sure to get a cinnamon roll for the table.
food was heavy and not very tasty. Odd menu items not appealing. Portions WAY too big given the heaviness of the food. Service great, but I would not go back here for the food. Also too crowded and noisy.
Food is Amazing Zara my server is the Bomb!!! Great attitude Great Service Great Place...!!!!
Quickly sat our large group but service was a bit slow- to be expected on a busy weekend morning. Great food- portions are huge- consider splitting.
We were there for our reservation on time. The waiter said he needs to get our table ready and that there are still people sitting at the table but it will be ready for us soon and he will tell me. We waited outside because it was very crowded inside. 20 minutes later, we still haven't heard from him so I went back inside and he didn't even recognize me. We were then seated very quickly. The food was great as well as the service once we were seated. But waiting 20 minutes even with a reservation and the need to make myself noticed was very unpleasant.
Friendly service, pretty good food. The Sockeye Sammy and Veggie Burger were good. Chicken thigh a little dry.
Was seated right on time and the staff was very friendly. Overall, one of my favorite brunch locations. Will definitely come back.
I honestly don’t want to say anything because this place is adorable and I hope it doesn’t become overrun!
Came here for breakfast with the fam - ordered way too much! Had the fancy French toast, chilaquiles, waffle and pork belly... all were delish. Let’s not forget the cinnamon roll that put us over the top! Good friendly service.
Waiter was great!
Our waitress was the best! Liked people, good sense of humor. Only drawback that day was that the restaurant was cold!
I don’t know why I keep going here. The staff are great but the food is so over priced! I paid $16 for a dried out salmon burger with some lettuce that seemed carelessly thrown on the plate. By dinner the restaurant seems pretty grimy. Two kids and I had dinner and it cost $75! No alcohol!
Only ordinary food. I think that the kitchen staff has lost its drive to make the dishes correctly.
Tasty food but small portions and the brioche toast was almost burnt, very hard.
I always have a great time here and the service is always excellent!
Had a nice breakfast here. Fun spot with some good food. They sat 5 of use quickly. Thanks.
Great server, great food, and an overall great experience.
Disappointing. Food was so-so; out of both beers on tap that I requested. Service was not up to par. Have visited before and had a good experience.
Booked a reservation before a TownHall event at Temple de Hirsch. We got seated right away and the service was quick. We both ordered the fried chicken and waffle. It was so delicious! Great fried chicken and the pairing with the waffle and potatoes was perfect. The entree was so big and filling that l took most of it home and got two more meals from it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I remember having a great meal or two here in the past. Maybe you just have to order fried chicken every time? I ordered a simple hamburger and fries and paid $16 for a simple burger and fries. Nothing special. I also paid $12 for a boring, under dressed kale caesar salad with "buttery croutons" that were store bought. No parmesan, barely any dressing. Borrrring. And I paid $12 for a drink in a tiny, cutesy jelly jar. And my friend paid $10 for the same size awful malbec. Total, including tip was $89. For that much money, we could have had a great meal anywhere else.
The service was terrible.. we sat for quite some time before the waiter came over. I actually had to track him down. The price of wine was outrageous. Doubt if we will go back.
Do Not come to this place for dinner. Service is horrible and the food was extremely cold!
