I was very impressed with Skillet's outdoor dining set up with covid safety in mind. We had privacy from other guests while still having good ventilation. The food of course was also delicious and the service was great!
These guys have done a fantastic job at keeping their delicious menu available to in-person diners during our indoor dining restrictions... bravo! And I know it’s just a side dish, but their breakfast potatoes today were perfection... expertly cooked and seasoned. It’s a hard thing to achieve. Outstanding!
It was great! It’s very hard to find ways to celebrate a birthday in these times. Skillet was a good option. Will bring a blanket next time though.
Always solid. Highly recommend. Check it out......
This is my second time eating in at Skillet since COVID. My first time was not as positive as the host and servers did not tell me that there is a time limit of 1 hour, they simply seated us and waited until we had been there about an hour to tell us we had to leave.
This time staff was much friendlier and no one rushed us out. We were seated quickly, our food lagged and we were served behind a table that came after us but other than that it was fine.
Skillet is a decent option but not anything groundbreaking. Just always make a reservation as they are typically very busy.
The patio experience left Me wanting more
Let’s say the weather in November wasn’t conducive to
Their COVID protection measures are AMAZING!!
Skillet never disappoints. The food is always great and the service is solid. Highly recommend!
The troll of a host had a terrible attitude and treated us borderline discriminatory. They lacked the empathy and tone to actually ‘host’ anyone. Must feel powerful being the Queen of Hosts. This was enough to make me never want to return or ever recommend anyone going there. If you don’t like your work you should make a choice to find another. And if you want a seamless dining experience, don’t go to Skillet in Cap Hill.
Great food great service good for anytime of the day
Meals at Skillet always feel decadent at a reasonable price. Everything is very rich and flavorful with generous portions. Service was a bit slow but food was well worth the wait. Highly recommend the fried chicken and waffles.
No milkshakes still!! Why can’t you have them during Covid??
Good food and a very good Bloody Mary.
It was my first time eating there and it was amazing! I loved all the Halloween decorations and the servers were absolutely great. I would definitely want to go there again and would recommend to a friend.
We had the fried chicken sandwich with a salad and both were excellent. We planned to eat outside to be safer, but it was so cold! So we ate inside and felt very comfortable and safe.
The tables were far apart with plastic screens and the waitstaff stayed far away. I highly recommend the Skillet for inside dining this winter!
The food was wonderful! We really appreciated everything they are doing for the safety of their customers and employees!
Excellent service and COVID readiness!!
Chicken was fantastic, Cobb Salad was perfect.
Waffle was sadly undercooked.
Bloody Mary’s were delicious too.
Will definitely be back!
Food was amazing but the worst service in the city. Server was rude and charged for items we did not get.
Had reservations and were the only couple sat outside with no heater around our table. Asked if we could move sine it was 52 degrees outside or wait for another table. We were told ‘no’ there would not be a table available for another 2 hours. We ordered take out instead and while we were waiting for our food 4 other groups were sat all under outdoor heaters. Ridiculous!!
This was our first time here. Waiters were nice and attentive. Food was great! Can’t wait to come back.
Great food as usual, but unfortunately this is now several times where the service felt like we were a nuisance and did not feel treated like a true customer
Food was excellent, I highly recommend the lil chub breakfast sandwich. Great portions, fantastic service, and very COVID conscious service and servers as well!
Great food
Get the donut holes as an appetizer!!! All of the food we ordered was delicious! We felt very safe and everything felt clean and the 'rules' were very very clear, which was great!
Food was greasy and full of undisclosed red pepper
We sat outside.
Have been here twice in two weeks. Excellent on social distancing and keeping customers and staff safe during this pandemic. Didn’t realize we needed a reservation, but we got there at 11:28 am and they had an opening at 11:30. They are detail oriented about safety: the reservation, the doorbell when you get there, QR code on the table for the menu. Clearly marked instructions about everything. We were totally comfortable eating here and we have only been to restaurants to eat in 2-3 times since March. Also have outdoor seating. The staff is outstanding: friendly, attentive and professional. The menu is limited but good choices for breakfast and lunch. Everything was very good (the raspberry jam that comes with toast is outstanding). This is our new “go to” place for breakfast and lunch when in Seattle. 5-6 minute drive from all the major medical facilities (Harborview, Swedish, etc.) which is why we were in the area. Highly recommend!
Have always enjoyed dining here in the past, but this last food experience was lackluster. Very little chicken in the breakfast burrito and nothing was seasoned.
The chicken that came with my chicken and waffle plate was off the charts delicious. I’m already thinking about when I will get it next. Staff did an awesome job of communicating, following, and encouraging covid-19 safety measures. Bravo Skillet
The food is great here and it's in a cute part of cap hill.. however, NOTE that they are not allowing you to say longer than an hour right now. We were kicked out and only told 10 min before we had to leave. I completely understand the need to limit so they can turn tables but we should have been warned before we sat down and they should allow for at least 1.5 hours or 2 hours. 1 hour isn't long enough. Open table needs to make this a bigger alert and not in the fine print.:)
Excellent. Great food. Great service. Keep everything safe and clean.
Really cute place, great social distancing, amazing food! The Mac and cheese was so delicious.
I appreciated they set the expectations as what’s expected of us with regards to Covid and masks. The food was great and we were offered a pitcher after we all ordered grapefruit mimosas! That was awesome! She was respectful and checked in regularly!
felt very safe during eat in during pandemic! very cautious and abided by all rules. extremely comfortable
Whoa, what a great experience! Our server was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. I honestly think my breakfast burrito (chicken with avocado) was the best I've ever had. I'll definitely come back.
I miss their Cobb salad, but their chilaquiles and a side of bacon are pretty awesome, too. :)
The staff was very thorough in their safety procedures during Covid. Well thought plan. Physical barriers for indoor dining, as well as outdoor seating. And the food was scrumptious!
Fav brunch spot in seattle! Mimosas Coffee Fried Chicken!!!
Solid brunch option. Super friendly staff. COVID safety measures were implemented very well.
Great service and felt they went above and beyond in terms of health precautions.
