It's a nice quiet break if you're shopping at Westside Pavilion or going to the Landmark. Food was not a great value for the price; the chicken piccata was very tasty, but it was described as having "rainbow chard," which was probably the small green flakes in the rice. No other vegetable was included in the dish. No bread was offered. The Nordstrom's and this restaurant are moving to the Century City mall in October.

There were only five or so diners on Monday night at 7:30, so the place was quiet and we got attentive service. I am comparing it to lunch time, when it's crowded and noisy and the staff seems rushed. My salmon on risotto was excellent, and my husband liked his French dip sandwich.

The shrimp salad was absolutely delicious! I usually order a chicken salad but this was a great switch for me! The corn on top was delicious!

our table was waiting and we were served by the waiter we requested. This is a great spot to meet friends for lunch or quick dinner before or after the movies.

As usual, we had an enjoyable dinner here before a movie. We enjoy the healthy food choices and I particularly like the steak and sauteed spinach. The waitstaff is always friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the mall and get a solid meal.

They very nicely accommodated our group of 9 and our waiter, Fernando was expert at serving such a large group. Very easy to get separate checks as well.

What they do, they do right! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are shopping at the westside pavilion or are attending a movie at the landmark theaters next door. The service is excellent and the food is really good. It is fresh and the prep is healthy too. We stumbled on it when the westside tavern had a 30 minute wait for a table - and didn't take reservations. That place is good too - but with lots of attitude, noise, and a rushed feeling to boot. This restaurant is quiet, quick, and the waitstaff are smart and efficient. Anyway - this is comfort food, American and casual - however, it's really good.

If you want a delicious, well-priced meal in a quiet setting then try Sith & Pine in the Nordstrom West LA. Free parking for 3 hours, fun to stroll through the mall, and ability to talk to your dining partners in a quiet setting.

"Doing lunch" with my daughter turned into dinner. We were so pleasantly surprised when our go to lunch place, Nordstrom's 6th & Pine was an excellent choice for dinner too. It's the same menu for dinner as lunch, but that's what we wanted. We got our usual sweet potato fries, but they no longer had the yummy ricotta jam jar. That was too bad. Our friendly efficient waiter informed us they changed that item two months ago. We then had the bruschetta, shrimp pasta special, and my go to favorite the salmon spinach salad. All choices were excellent and reasonably priced. We'll try them again for dinner. Glad I made the Open Table reservation since the place was packed!

Sixth & Pine was well-suited to our older group of 6: a short walk across the bridge from the Landmark Theaters for a casual supper after an early movie. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the service was prompt and efficient. We obtained separate checks as requested. I look forward to a next time.

Usually we are very pleased with the service and the food here. On this particular Friday evening, it did not seem that the kitchen was up to par. We waited 45 minutes(1) for our food. When it came it was a bit cold (or at least not hot...) and we were annoyed to see other diners served before us when we knew they arrived after us. Since we had a movie to catch, we were not happy....Also, my chicken dish (which I've gotten before) was drowning in a sauce that was not good. I kept the chicken but asked for a new plate of veggies that did not have the sauce, and it was then perfect. However, I was given 1/2 the amount of veggies! Since I love my spinach, this did not please me either. So, yes we will return, but no, were were not 100% thrilled with our meal on that night. I sure hope this is not a forecast of things to come.

Nice experience on our second visit, this time dinner. Our waitress offered us a sample of a new wine and also of the eg soup. This was her suggestion. So we enjoyed a nice glass of wine with a simple dinner before the movie. First time there was lunch after shopping and the food was quite good then. Also, the lighting in the evening was perfect AND you can have a conversation. My husband likes it there!

I was craving salmon & they didn't have it that day. I rarely eat fish, and I don't eat chicken or meat so I was really looking forward to their delicious salmon. And I was going for a belated birthday lunch, so I was bummed.

Tucked away in the Nordstrom store in Westside Pavillion is 6th & Pine. This cute little restaurant features (surprisingly) moderately -priced, delicious and high-quality food and service that Nordstrom's is well-known for. The salads and latkes appertizer were delicious. Total bill for lunch, around $25. Would happily recommend and return.
