Six Tables is a unique and intimate dining experience provided by one talented chef serving a total of six tables. Personal customer service and phenomenal food is the hallmark of Six Tables, where the chef explains each menu option to you and prepares your multi-course meal fresh on the spot. Though the menu is revolving, sample menu items have included black pepper bread with whipped butter and warm honey and the pickled carrot slaw for starters. Next comes the soup and salad courses, which have included a luscious shrimp bisque, a cool and creamy cucumber soup and a torn radicchio and heirloom tomato salad. Diners have enjoyed such entrée items as grilled beef strip with parsnip frites, pasilla-crusted lamb and butter poached black cod.
Dessert is equally decadent, with options like grilled banana crème brulee and chocolate crepes putting the finishing touch on a beautiful experience.
What a great experience! Food was amazing!! Chef was awesome. Felt like an under dining scence, very personal and intimate. A must try for everyone a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every dollar.
I have never been in this restaurant before. I am a connoisseur of fine restaurant and I wanted to try this one which has an interesting concept: small restaurant with only 6 tables and a creative chef. The marketing is also very attractive: THE PINNACLE OF FINE DINING IN TAMPA SINCE 2000.
I love the idea of a unique menu changing everyday, which proves that the chef is creative.
When you arrive at 7:30pm for a dinner starting for the 6 tables at 8:00pm you are welcomed at your table with a glass of bubbly.
Then the waitress details the menu and its variations. so far so good.
The food was OK but not extraordinary. A soufflé as the first course, second course: a salad (spring mix + spinach + vinaigrette) nothing fancy, third course: a beef filet or a fish or a lamb blanquette (My wife insisted to have her filet rare, with warm red inside. It was served medium), Fourth course: a thin slice of a Manchego type cheese serve on the same type of salad as the second course, fifth course: dessert (I cannot remember what it was, which just shows that it was not remarkable).
For the wine they offer bottles at $50.00 per bottle or a flight of 4 glasses for $30.00 (small glasses, and low quality).
Conclusion: I will not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends in Tampa, on the contrary.
For what was served on the plate, we should have paid no more than $50.00.
Good news they accept BYOB if you want to bring your decent wine, and avoid their upscale table wine, but cork fee is $25.00.
Chef Richard is awesome. The food is wonderful. I have been twice and both I was completely full at the end. Super romantic, quite and calming atmosphere.

As expected, the menu at Six tables was great with the the Scallop Bisque and Veal being exceptional. Richard was a one man band Sunday covering every position from Host and Server to head Chef and as usual, he was generous with his knowledge and humor.
Six Tables is the best restaurant in Tampa for those serious about their food. This is, what we Australians would call, a "real restaurant". You go here for a night out, not as a quick meal before going elsewhere. It is small, has only 6 tables as the name suggests. I have gone there for romantic dinners with my husband; dinner with 10 friends; a couples' night out and with just a friend. It has never let me down!

Great multi-course dinner. Limited choices because of the format, but sufficient variety, including a fish option for non-meat eaters. Wide variety of flavors you don't often see - the plum soup was tangy, unusual and outstanding. Veal was tender and delightful. Panna cotta dessert to die for. loved the mis-matched china. Décor disappointing only because it should not take much effort to spruce it up and make diners feel more welcome.
We had a great experience at Six Tables. The food was great and so was the service. I particularly liked the carrot anise soup; it had a nice spicy kick to it. The lavender herb bread smelled and tasted delicious. I read Yelp reviews that people left hungry, and I simply can't see how that would be possible unless you eat like a horse.
We attended on a quiet Saturday night. Six tables actually only has six tables, so the experience is awesome and very intimate. There are no printed menus, you are provided five courses- an appetizer, salad, choice of entree, cheese course, and choice of dessert. The appetizer our night was a potato souffle, which was wonderful and light. The salad was mixed greens with collards, which provided a nice bite. SO had the duck tart and I had the cornish hen. The tart was amazing and very rich, the skin on the cornish hen was so crispy it tasted like fried chicken! Our cheese course was a generous helping of un-aged gouda with accompaniments, and for dessert I had a wonderful panna cotta and my SO had a chocolate cake. We added the wine pairing, which at $30 is a steal. I highly recommend this to any foodies looking for an amazing and unique date night.

The chef was very passionate about his food. I had the pork, which was melt in your mouth delicious, and my husband had the game hen, which was so crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside! Definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Chef Richard presented us an absolutely wonderful meal and paired wines with each course individually suited to each of our palates and the specific dishes. Pricey, but worth it for the unique menu and superb personalized service. All the dishes were amazing but the deserts were the biggest surprise - and spectacular.
Always have enjoyed Six Tables, The Service and food quality was outstanding. There was a party of 8 that made the noise level to high. Sitting at a table for two, farthest way, we could hardly hear each other. Some how the noise level needs to be controlled.
All in all the food was well done, the chef was clearly classically trained, but may have been slipping on doing new dishes. The food was paired nicely to our wine flight, it was a very enjoyable evening.
Only sad part is, that as the name implies there are only 6 Tables, with that you are very much at the mercy of the other guests when it comes to volume of a conversation. Needless to say, when the party walked into the room with shorts and a pull over hoodie on, I instantly knew this would not be a nice and quiet meal. All I can say, is if the dress code says coat recommended, don't show up in shorts. Gone are the days of finer dinning.

I love the idea of Six Tables. You seat yourself so getting there early you can pick a corner table. I found the restaurant very dark and outdated. We were able to choose a couple of servings so we ordered both so we could try each dish. Our dinner was good but not great. The champagne upon entering is a very nice touch. With it being Valentine's Day, I thought there would be some special touches, which there could have been compared to a regular night, but I didn't sense anything different. The chef was very friendly and personable as well as the attendants. It was a very pricey night for what I feel we received. Bill was over $200.
Absolutely and by far one of the best if not the best Restaurant in Tampa. I can't believe I didn't know about this place until this past Valentines day. If you want the most outstanding quality of service, most amazing food, trying to impress your love one, this place will guarantee the most amazing dining experience. I don't even want to share much so you can be aa impressed as I was on my first visit (I didn't do much research before going and was only going by the Open Table rating which os always very accurate).
How I ended up going there? Well, I forgot to make our Valentine's reservation, so here I was Sunday around noon calling all the good places I am familiarized with here in Tampa ($$ ratings since it was an special occasion)... Nothing at all available (not even Six Tables)... Then I remember about Open Table app and sure enough, almost every single restaurant had an opening available thru Open Table app... The first one on the list (filtered by ratings) was Six Tables so I decided to give it a try... Best of the Best!!

There is only one seating at 7:30pm so it makes it very convenient for the staff and diners. The owner/chef was very friendly and visited the tables. We were there on a Thursday night and there were two parties (table of 2 - us and a table of 5). The menu changes daily and the food was very good. We ordered the accompanying wine flite (2 whites and 2 reds) but the wines were very pedestrian and did not do anything to enhance the meal. I would recommend the restaurant but bring your own wine (corking fee is $25). All in all a nice evening
Best French food outside of France. Servings were generous. The chef/owner was very professional and fast. The server was great also. The food was out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.
This restaurant was extremely good. The portions were just right, not too large. It was pricey but worth it.
That's it my best friend there for dinner for her birthday. Chef Richard is amazing, I fell in love with the cauliflower and pear soup. Is a little pricey there, but it is worth it. The overall dining experience was remarkable the best thing about it was the low noise and the absence of cell phones at the table. People actually having conversations and enjoying the food they were eating and not being rushed through it for the next table. Can't wait to go back!
My husband called prior to evening regarding if they would have anything special for birthday dinner, they said yes but that evening they forgot. Too many sauces on food items, unable to savor flavor of the food. Dessert Chocolate Mousse was like a drink, not cooked/ set up properly.
For the price would not recommend.

Six Tables is a easy going fine dining restaurant located in an obscure little strip of shops. From the outside I though "This cant be fine dining" but once inside those thoughts quickly changed. I was greeted by the Chef Richard and I knew I was in for some great food. The chef is willing to accommodate almost any special requests if given enough notice, which is not as common as you would think among restaurants. The six courses were thought out and creative, from appetizer to dessert, leaving me anticipating the next plate. I would most definitely return to Six Tables. I have traveled across the U.S. and had the opportunity to eat at many fine restaurants and the food at Six Tables is right there with the best of them.
As the name of the restaurant suggests, there are only 6 tables and one seating available for a very chef- centric dinner. On this particular night, we were the only diners. This made what is always an enjoyable experience even better

Beforehand it seemed like there would not be much choice for entrees...but there were 5 or 6 choices. We had 4 of them...each one was delicious and perfectly cooked!
I'd heard about Six Tables but hadn't yet had the opportunity to dine until October 4. What a fantastic experience! Creative menu, charming atmosphere, excellent wine flight! Overall, a very special and romantic experience. Highly recommended!

Great service. Good food but not outstanding. Atmosphere was quiet but seating area very drab and unappealing. Chef great with customers in explaining food, but I could not honestly send anyone there telling them this was a great place. For almost $100 per person, the quality of the the food was just not there. Took our 26 year old son who was visiting and he was hungry at the end of his meal.

I was absolutely blown away. The appetizers was incredible. Especially since it was made from sweet potato, a vegetable of which neither of us are very fond. The shrimp bisque was a divine marvel to the taste buds. The flight of wines was top notch and suited the meal perfectly & desert was beyond amazing. I will definitely be supporting all of the chef's future endeavors.

It was a unique experience, which my girl and i enjoyed to one extent but for the price the food should be outstanding. Its like a 7 course meal with small plates of food brought out as you complete your serving. I was definitely disappointed when my main course of filet mignon was placed in front of me. Two small, grayish medallions that resembled small pork tenderloins and they were cold?! I want my $90 filet to be at least 2 inches thick (if not more) with grill marks, pink warm center (like I ordered) and at least warm. My girl's rack of lamb looked and tasted good but it looked like a small appetizer rather than main course. Bottom line: way too little for the price charged, I expect the basics at the very least. There are plenty of fine restaurants in the area
