This is a nice enough restaurant in an older hotel down by the water. It's essentially shaped in a crescent, with 50% of the tables by windows, which is nice.
But for reasons that make no sense, 50% of the window tables are associated with the bar/lounge, even though they're the same kind of furniture, have the same menu, same wait staff, and same view. This shouldn't matter, but they spread them out JUST a little bit more - so you can't EAT without scraping all the benches and tables together noisily (which EVERYBODY does). It's silly -- head right, tables and benches, head left, tables and benches a foot farther apart, would you like to reach for you food?
The menu is not really paleo/low carb friendly (get the crab caesar without croutons, it's THE choice that works), but the food IS good.
You want a view? This is nice. You want a nice table? Nope - not even with reservations, like I had.
We sat on the outside patio; this was a very special anniversary and staff expected us and took very good care of us. That meant a lot to us. The views and food are equally stunning. If I had only one night in Seattle this is where I would go.
We had wonderful time for a birthday brunch. They even gave the birthday girl a complimentary desert. Always enjoyed the Sunday brunches 😃
I came here to celebrate my one year anniversary with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was exactly what I was looking for. Only complaint would be the other patrons. We were seated close to some of the most obnoxiously loud people I've ever had the displeasure to be in the same room with. Restaurant is 10/10 though. Cannot recommend enough.
Good food, excellent views (especially on a sunny day), good service and nice atmosphere.
Fabulous views! Food was not anything I have not seen on a menu before, but it was good! Had the shrimp & crab cakes, scallops, and salmon. Definitely paying for the water view. Would recommend for a special night out!
Great experience. We sat in the bar, so it was noisy. But we really enjoyed everything about this place. The view, food, service - we loved it!
The service was slow but the food was on point. Best filet and crab legs we’ve had! The lavender creme brûlée was a miss though...the classic is better.
Stunning view and great food !! Restaurant is right on the oceans
I came here for lunch and it wasn’t too expensive it was a nice sit down place and the view really makes it worth it.
Wonderful experience. Highly recommend! Great way to spend our anniversary A++++
Had never been hear before and was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be coming back.
A favorite. The ambiance is the best of Seattle - great energy, classy while being welcoming, beautiful views, and the food. Is. So. Good.
Terrific view and very nice surroundings. The food was excellent and well prepared, albeit a bit high priced. The wait staff was pleasant and service was pretty good. My wife and I went for our 20th anniversary, which I had mentioned within our reservation, but only received a brief acknowledgement of our special day at the reception desk. Even with the great food, the overall experience was a bit of a let down for us.
Exellent experience for our anniversary! They were friendly and set us up with a nice table by the window.
Amazing food! Mushroom bisque best thing I've had for awhile. You are paying for the decor/location, so the prices are a tad high and they add a small fee for maintenance. I think it's worth it for a really nice dinner. Would come back here again.
What a beautiful place, super service and great food! It doesn’t get much better for a wonderful night out.
Overall it was okay - the interior is really stylish and tasteful - super nice! However, it was difficult to have a conversation as it was really noisy.
The service was good and attentive.
The food: it was okay - I wouldn’t call it fine-dining though; the portions were too huge for that, the presentation of the food not really appealing.
Not a lot of creativity in the preparation.
It was good, but none of the dishes was a “oh my god - I have to have that again and will for sure come back”
(What we had: kale salad, mussels/clams (they were great!) as starters; main: lamb and scallops;)
The food and service were exceptional! However, the noise level was very high, too high to enjoy a romantic meal. The music combined with the talking of all the guests it felt like you were in a Cafeteria setting...
For 3 people, with only two glasses of wine, this was the most expensive dinner we've ever had. $260.00 with tip. The food was at best, average. It was a terrible disappointment. We will NOT go there again. It's not that we are opposed to spending 260 for a special occasion, it is just that the food was most definitely not special.
AMZING!! BEAUTIFUL!! I took my mom and my best-friend to the location. They love it! This is the best view in Seattle!
I was not impressed with the food,it was too bland for my taste. If you like bland food then this places for you. Other than that, the service was great and the waterfront was spectacular.
Everything was great except we were sat at a bar level table for dinner. Very uncomfortable
The staff were friendly and helpful and the ambiance was incredible. We were disappointed slightly with the menu, however we were there for Valentine's Day and there was a set menu and a very full restaurant. Some of the dishes were incredible, but the vegetarian choices (one diner is a vegetarian) were repetitive in flavours (both mushroom centred and heavy on the cream) and left us feeling sluggish and overly full despite not finishing our meals. I would recommend this place for delicious cocktails though and attentive staff.
The Key Lime Pie was not only beautiful but delicious! Thank you for making it correctly...tastes like lime with a nice bite.
The View! It's perfect for Valentine's date. And, the service was top notch.
Loved everything about it! Will tell folks and will go back!
We celebrated our engagement anniversary and everything from the view, the couches, the cocktails, to the food and service were perfect.
Great atmosphere and great food. Inside is very rustic and has that old school vibe
Was rather let down, was my wifes first time there per my recommendation. We regularly try out higher end resteraunts. I told her Six Seven was better then her beloved Mistral Kitchen In Downtown Seattle. Though I won the debate about ambiance. I felt really let down by the food, being that I really bragged it up. The scallops where defiantly frozen at one point so they where abnormally puffy and slightly rubbery. I ordered the filet mignon it was full of fat gristle, and was not rare. It was about medium and a bit chewy. The cheese put on top was terrible, usually such cheese should be a very light dusting however it was literally a SLAB Slice of VERY strong cheese. I tried to scrape it off as the smell was very repulsive and over powering. But it was gross so I gave it to my wife as she could tolerate it. I ate the veggies around it which was super delicious. The lemon Spinach was good though I do feel that the lemon was pretty over powering. However I am someone who enjoys the taste of spinach so that was a slight personal preference. Service was wonderful, drinks where good. But the food really let me down.
Excellent service and great food.
Met a client here for a business breakfast. Excellent Eggs Benedict!!! Great service and waitress was very nice!
had our anniversary there and really wanted a special brunch, it was perfect! the food was great, intimate setting made it romantic, and will be a memory we will cherish! Thank you so much and hope to be back next year.
We were new to Six Seven and had a fabulous experience. We loved the staff and the restaurant manager—they were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! We all ordered seafood and were all very pleased with our meals.
The Edgewater exceeded our expectations in every way! My wife and I felt well attended to at dinner. The restaurant supervisor came to our table and asked us if she could do anything else? To which we both said, “everything is great”. From the tasty food to the rustic modern decor of the dining area. Our room was very posh and well appointed with a view of Seattle and Elliot Bay. You’re downtown but it’s quiet because your room is out over the water away from the city noises. What a fabulous place to stay! It is pricey, but you won’t mind that because you feel like a million bucks when it’s time to leave. We plan on returning for sure!
15 year anniversary and celebration of life!
I frequent here, and I always receive the best service here. Top Notch.
Mediocre service and a poor environment. They didn’t even have a table for us even though we had a reservation. They told us to sit in the lounge. Overall, it felt like we didn’t matter.
Six Seven is my go to breakfast spot when I have family or friends visiting from out of town. This was my fourth visit and I've yet to have a guest that didn't love it. The view, the decor, the incredibly tasty food, and excellent, friendly service make this a place you should always take your guests. I hope to stop by for happy hour some time soon!
One of our top dining adventures EVER! We had an EXCELLENT experience at Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge! We celebrated my father's 70th birthday. Every part of the dining experience was wonderful!! My father LOVED the restaurant, atmosphere, and food. We all had a marvelous time! We also had an exceptional visit on another birthday. We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. The view and atmosphere can't be beat... and the food is DIVINE.
