Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge Ratings and Reviews
My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. It was December so the restaurant was very busy at dinnertime, but despite that the server did a wonderful job. The lighting was very dim, but the menus lit up so we had no problem reading them. There are huge windows along the side facing the water, so even though our table was on the side furthest away from the windows we still had a great view!
The food was amazing. For the main course I had a miso glazed cod, and it was delicious. It melted in my mouth and was so flavorful!
Next time, we want to try sitting in the bar lounge -- the furniture there is so modern and chic!
This restaurant may be a bit pricey but it is so worth it. I brought my mother here for her birthday and she was in love with the place and so was I. Everything was perfect but the two top things about that night was the crab and shrimp cakes and our server...
If you want a waterfront table you should arrive at 530. They go pretty fast.
I was stuck in Seattle without my family over Thanksgiving so I splurged on their prix fixe holiday dinner. I arrived early and was disappointed not to be offered an open seat by the window. My crab cake and steak were phenomenal! However, the service was just OK. I felt a little neglected, perhaps because I was traveling solo? I had to wait longer than usual to get the bill and was not offered any extra beverages. With tip (and an alcoholic beverage) my total was over $100 which I'm not sure was quite worth it. It was fun to do once in my life and I would love to go again with my spouse but I would not recommend going there solo as I was treated slightly less than lovely.
After we found a bar maid the service was good. Very loud bar. Dinner was very good, but again very loud. We have been here several times and it wasn't this loud. You are at water level watching the Sound Ferries come and go. Steak and seafood menu cooked exactly as we ordered.....but not cheap. I know we will go back again. But it was difficult to have a conversation.
The restaurant has great ambience, intimately dim, which warranted the cool back-lit menus and a cocktail and wine list on a tablet. The wine selection was excellent but I was a bit disappointed that their house Moscow mule was not served in a copper mug. The food was wonderful, I highly recommend the diver scallops and salmon - the seafood here is cooked to perfection. As far as sides go, and if you’re willing to share, any entree needs accompanied by the lobster mac & cheese - a creamy, cheesy delight chock-full of lobster. I think this restaurant would be amazing before sunset because it’s right on the water, but we came for sinner and even a windowside table didn’t reveal much of the bay outside. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant and next time I’ll book a reservation during the day.
My friend and I arrived for our 7:45 reservation to a full and quite noisy room. However, we were seated at a small round booth which allowed for conversation and a lovely view to the water. Within an hour the restaurant quieted and we could enjoy our dinner in relative peace. The kale salad was outstanding and a generous portion even when divided in two. My friend had the salmon which was beautifully plated delicious . I had the black cod and again was impressed how beautiful the plate was with two pretty bunches of tiny mushrooms (don't know what they are called). They disappointed, however, being so tough I left them uneaten. Nevertheless, the fish was fabulous and I loved the greens with it. I'd order it again. The service was outstanding. Beware of $8 surcharge for pile maintenance. It could be a surprise if you can't read the tiny print on the menu.
Menu selection was nothing to creative or out of this world but the braised short rib and the pan seared diver scallops were absolutely delicious. The scallops were buttery and complimented with crispy pancetta that made the meal that much better. My boyfriend got a solid moscow mule and I had the Hemingway Daiquiri that I thoroughly enjoyed. the hotel is beautiful and right be the water. Ambience was very very dimly lit but it was cool because they had these cool light up menus. But definitely a dark lounge feel in the evening. Service was great but nothing too notable. Valet is cheap at $8. We enjoyed our time at the edgewater six seven
I ordered the Avocado Omelet. I asked the wait person for no potatoes. When she brought it, there were no potatoes or anything else---a small well done omelet on a large plate. Maybe, I should have asked for a substitution like fruit.....but she made no effort to ask if I wanted something else since I requested no potatoes. I was still hungry and stopped at Starbuck's for a blueberry muffin.
The server was pleasant and brought coffee refills---
My friend was here from New York for a conference and I wanted to show off our waterfront and booked lunch at The Edgewater. It was a mistake.
The view was totally amazing. We booked through OpenTable with a note that it's my husband's birthday. We were late about 15 minutes, and were told our reservation was canceled and made again so that the front desk was not able to get us the table by the window. However, only one of the two reserved tables by the window was used after we were seated. Wish our request could be accommodated on a special day!
Inside of a hotel, this restaurant has fantastic water views, great anbience inside the bar area and dining area, and fantastic food. Our waitress annie was great and very attentative. This place would be great for a date night or business meeting. Business casual dressing or nicer would be appropriate.
Found the menu reasonably priced and just enough variety to find something for your liking. Came here to celebrate with my Fiancé on our new engagement while on vacation and though it was a little loud from a specific group we still found it very romantic. Our waiter was awesome and gave us a complimentary dessert for our special occasion.
A Great server, Marlene. The restaurant was very busy for Sunday brunch but Marlene was very attentative to our table. We were celebration two Birthdays and she surprised us we wonderful dessert. Thank you Edgewater for having such a great server. Roy Schaefer
Great place. Pricing is fair, service phenomenal. Was slightly disappointed because a 3rd party website, idk if it was trip advisor or yelp, but the 3rd party made it seem like they served brunch everyday but they only do on Saturday and Sunday. Our sever made up for it though with a sincere smile and discounted truffle fries:) (also yes I realize it's my fault for not going to their website directly). I will definitely be back.
Been here before a few times. Food is tops, wine list is very good, with many NW wines being prominent. On the water, cozy but can be somewhat loud at times. Cocktails are excellent. Definitely pricy, but worth it for a special occasion. Good for entertaining out-of-towners too.
This is our go-to place for date night or a special occasion. Nowhere else in Seattle do you actually feel like you're on the water. Summer time drinks or meals here are a real treat, but storm watching is equally fun. The food is great and I love the pineapple martini and ambiance.
