Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Six Seven is a great value for what you get. You'll spend some money, but I always feel good about what I get: unique meals, great ambiance, knowledgeable/pleasant staff, and plenty of food on the plate to leave you satisfied (an ongoing complaint of my husband's with some of the foodie-type restaurants in Seattle).
Food aside, I like the variety of seating in the room -- some window-side tables, but also cute and cozy circular tables to reside in private little nooks. Great for a date night.
We usually like coming here but this time it was very busy because it was new year day. After the main course we wanted to order desserts and coffee but the server had disappeared. She didn’t show up for at least 20 minutes. I assume because tip was already included because we were a large group, she didn’t care about taking care of us
I’d first like to say that our waitress was very friendly and I’d probably enjoy being served by her again. That said, the restaurant seemed extremely understaffed. One of the drinks in our order was completely forgotten. No one came to check on us or to see how the food was. One of my companions had completely finished his meal before anyone came by to check on food quality, offer drink refills, etc. I was waiting while everyone else ate, and my friend completely finished his meal, to ask for hot sauce. That’s a long wait for hot sauce. Someone in my group heard the manager saying several people had called in. This is probably why the service was subpar. That said, the food was very good, and I suspect our waitress would’ve been terrific if she hadn’t been so swamped. No hard feelings and I would come back since I’ve been here twice before; but New Years Day 2018 was not a stellar dining experience. At least the view was great. Sorry if my phone mangled any of my review.
The view and dining spot were fantastic, we were in the bar so it was quieter. Prosecco great. Service great, fast and friendly. Food was delicious but not very much of it. More choices on the lunch menu would be good. I know the place is expensive but worth it for the experience but I would be happier to spend the money if I were not hungry afterwards. I think the menu and prices were better last year.
We go every Christmas and have always had great service and food. This year the food was bland, undercoooked and less than stellar. The service was spotty and we had to flag someone down to get cocktails which were forgotten a couple times and we had to remind them. The noise level with the really loud music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other in the dining room were we were sitting next to each other. Not the best experience and my consider changing our venue next year.
Our Christmas lunch experience was excellent & our server was the best we've experienced in the USA, the Moroccan spiced short rib is something I'd eat again without hesitation, 4 courses - generous portions, timed perfectly & with a great wine list to choose from. You also get an excellent view!
We also enjoyed a drink in the bar after lunch where the ambience was more energetic. Next time I visit Seattle I'll be booking a table here.
I brought my son here for his 13th birthday. His table was ready as soon as we arrived and was exactly what I requested. The server and staff were so wonderful and made his birthday extra special. They even surprised him with a special dessert. It will always be such a special memory for the both us.
First, beautiful setting. Haven’t seen many better restaurants with a water view (Salty’s on Alki maybe?). Went for lunch, had the crab and shrimp louie, fried green tomato BLT, and truffles fries. Solid food all around. Service was attentive and great overall.
Nice bar. Good food. Great service.
In town for a Seahawks game. Stayed at the Edgewater Hotel. Dined at the Six Seven for breakfast & lunch. Great ambiance. Charcuterie plate at the bar was excellent. Had a great time. Will definitely dine there again when in town.
Valet parking makes access easy and the atmosphere was unique and inviting with great water view. We were there for lunch and the four of us all agreed that while the food was okay it wasn't spectacular for the price. Also in addition to paying for parking there was a sur-charge which the waiter said was to pay for maintaining the pier. The wine menu is all on a touch screen so was fun to use though the wine we picked was over charged as the waiter said he only had the higher priced wine on his screen. Of course he rectified this but it was an unnecessary delay in leaving plus the corrected bill was almost $80 over the first incorrect one so he had to re-do it yet again. Frustrating at best.
The food and our server was great! But I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant could not reserve a window table for such a special occasion. I️t was my boyfriend's 30th birthday and I booked a week in advance and had requested a window table. I had to look out for a window table to open up and asked another server if we were able to move. He said he needed to check with the host if that seat was reserved for another guest. That's when I was puzzled because I thought the window seat was not guarantee. Anyhow, they eventually were able to accommodate us so it turned out great.
I hadn't been to SixSeven in a few years but reserved for a special date. It did not disappoint. The crab salad was delicious with lovely blending of citrus and tomato to accompany a very large portion of crab (we split it -- a whole portion would have been a meal for me!). I had the diver scallops and my partner had the kind salmon -- both were perfectly cooked. Portions were ample. Wine recommendation from the waiter was excellent. My only complaint was that our main course arrived too quickly, and we felt rushed to get to it. Otherwise, a wonderfully tasty and special dining experience ending with chocolate mousse and coffee.
This was probably the best restaurant that I've ever been to, hands down. My husband and I just moved to Seattle and wanted to celebrate our anniversary somewhere epic and this did the trick!
To start off, the parking situation was great, because there's a public garage just across the street that you can use (we needed to since the restaurant is in a hotel and had a full lot), but regardless, it was a very short walk.
Upon walking in, we were happily greeted by the wait staff and taken directly to our table, despite being a few minutes late due to parking. Once seated, we were handed menus that lit up so that you could see them since the restaurant is set in such a romantic fashion. Coolest thing ever. Our waiter was phenomenal. He was friendly, helpful and super attentive. The food was so good that it literally dissolved on your tongue when you ate it. Right down to the last bite of Cheesecake (which the restaurant gave to us free for our anniversary). My husband and I left on Cloud 9, despite having a $200+ dollar meal. Now, I'm not one to spend that on dinner usually, but I'd pay for this over and over and over again and never complain. Best.Restaurant.Ever.
My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. It was December so the restaurant was very busy at dinnertime, but despite that the server did a wonderful job. The lighting was very dim, but the menus lit up so we had no problem reading them. There are huge windows along the side facing the water, so even though our table was on the side furthest away from the windows we still had a great view!
The food was amazing. For the main course I had a miso glazed cod, and it was delicious. It melted in my mouth and was so flavorful!
Next time, we want to try sitting in the bar lounge -- the furniture there is so modern and chic!
This restaurant may be a bit pricey but it is so worth it. I brought my mother here for her birthday and she was in love with the place and so was I. Everything was perfect but the two top things about that night was the crab and shrimp cakes and our server...
If you want a waterfront table you should arrive at 530. They go pretty fast.
I was stuck in Seattle without my family over Thanksgiving so I splurged on their prix fixe holiday dinner. I arrived early and was disappointed not to be offered an open seat by the window. My crab cake and steak were phenomenal! However, the service was just OK. I felt a little neglected, perhaps because I was traveling solo? I had to wait longer than usual to get the bill and was not offered any extra beverages. With tip (and an alcoholic beverage) my total was over $100 which I'm not sure was quite worth it. It was fun to do once in my life and I would love to go again with my spouse but I would not recommend going there solo as I was treated slightly less than lovely.
