Try Sistina and you will feel yourself back to Italy. Very tasty and authentic food, beautiful place, good service.
perfection Great food, great service
The ossobuco was outstanding. As was the gnocchi . The pasta is made in house and was
Cooked as perfection Can’t wait to go back
Restaurant was great with wonderful service and great food but very expensive.
The dining experience overall was very good. The food was superb, although the waiter attending us was a bit rude when we asked some doubts regarding the menu.
New Year's Eve is always fun and festive at this lovely upper east side restaurant..food is always amazing..try the risotto with truffles or the osso bucco
There aren't many places you can go to get quality Italian food. This is one of the Best.
Sistina is the perfect place for any occasion. The service is impeccable. The food is outstanding… Beyond outstanding. You are made to feel like part of the family when you dine there. Such a beautiful and special place! We cannot wait to go back!
They always have outstanding food, outstanding service and a great ambiance. Their Christmas decorations were very tasteful. One of the top restaurants in NYC and UES
Beautiful setting and excellent service. The list of specials is endless. It was hard to pick what to have because everything sounded wonderful. A foodie friend recommended the zucchini flower appetizer. It was perfection. Overall, an excellent place for a special dinner worthy of a special celebration.
Over the top dining experience. A not to be missed NYC treat. Giovanni was delightful in serving us. One of the most beautiful dining rooms I’ve enjoyed worldwide and the food is over the top. We will be back!!!
Absolutely an amazing experience. The food was only out done by the service. All around incredible, we will be back! A must!
Overall a superb place. Classy. Excellent service. Great food. A delight
A sophisticated experience from start to finish.
Truly delightful experience.
An excellent dining experience, unfortunately we were
pressed for time or we could have stayed a little longer.
Love Bellarina at the bar and the food is always wonderful.
Sistina is an oasis in the city. Delightful surroundings, wonderful food and attentive service make this a place for any occasion.
Always amazing overall dining experience. Incredible wine list!
Took a good friend to dinner. Excellent experience.
Lovely ambiance. Food very expensive for good but not spectacular quality. Nice extras like taste of soup and little cookies at the end. Surprisingly bread not warm and butter cold.
Beautiful decor, delicious food (and ample portions!) and attentive waitstaff 650 ft from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We will return.
One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. Always excellent. While a bit pricey, portions are very generous. Service is professional but friendly.
Excellent service by Cuhangir! Well done
Our first time experiencing Sistina , extremely impressed
Classic Italian fine dining with a comfortable atmosphere. Food was spectacular and well worth the price
If your looking for a upscale experience with a relaxed environment in a beautiful spacious upper east side townhouse , this is the perfect place
Five stars from start to Finnish
Excellent food and wonderful service (John was great!)
Our second time having dinner here. This is a gem and should be taken quite seriously. The level of cuisine is amongst the city’s best. Ambiance is enchanting.
Service at bar was professional and friendly. Food was very good, but could improve price transparency. $25 for a bowl of soup, however good, was excessive and should have been made clear.
"Would you like to smell the seasonal truffles?" "Oh boy! would I!" (deep breath inside the truffle jar) Then I knew I was in a special restaurant. Everything about this eatery is superb. From the gracious wait staff to the food and wine. Don't miss it.
Excellent staff and amazing food. Also loved that it was one block from the Met.
This is a top drawer East side restaurant steps away from the Met Museum. Pricey but worth every penny. Reservations a must. Explore the daily offerings and expect culinary delights.
Outstanding meal with classic Italian dishes and specialties including truffles that were to die for.
We just finished another amazing meal at Sistina. The mushroom soup was quite literally one of the best things we have ever tasted. The restaurant is beautiful and a fantastic oasis of calm on the Upper East Side. Fall salads were incredibly fresh, interesting and delicious. The eggplant parmesan was unbelievable. And the service was professional, friendly and perfect (thank you Cihangir). Sistina is one of the very best restaurants in NY. Every single time.
Food was "meh" (I had vitello tomato which I generally love and my friend had pasta with ragu sauce. The decaf expresso I had at the end was frankly terrible. Atmosphere was ok and service ditto. The best part was how quiet it was. Not much traffic at lunchtime, I guess. Wouldn't go back or recommend it.
Staff seemed a but cranky but it was a holiday. Loved the old school charm of the restaurant. (Brilliant little old couples as well). The food was spot on. Scrambled eggs with excellent white truffle, pastas done just right. Best tiramisu i’ve had in a while.
Don’t go if under age 60
Exceptional food and environment.
I have rarely had such a relaxing and enjoyable meal. We felt welcomed and never rushed. Delightful salad with pears, parmigiana, and arrugula, perfect spaghetti cacio e pepe. I had a little trouble with my veal chop (it seemed to have an extra small bone where it wouldn't usually, plus some bits of cartilage, which made it hard to cut neatly), but my friend loved the veal scaloppine. The deserts were divine. I had chocolate souffle, which I haven't had in a long time, and it was SO marvelous. My friend had the profiteroles, which she said were equally wonderful. Really, everything was pretty perfect except the veal chop which was fine.
Never disappointed. They have a new fall specials with great wines and cocktails “
I had a glass of Brunello with a white truffles fettuccine and a blackberry bourbon cocktail so smooth:)
Stuff was very friendly and welcoming we are definitely coming back
This is a great restaurant:)the food is so fresh . They always have interesting specials and if you are gluten free they offer many options . The wine selection is great. The stuff very attentive
Great place definitely highly recommend
Great food and great staff! Excelent!!
