It was my birthday and the food and service were very good. This was the first time there and my husband and I really enjoyed our time!

Great place . The Dover sole was not very good . Always thought they debone at table and was mushy . Disappointed

I have dined here many times over the years. The service, food and ambiance have remained consistently the same. excellent. The view of the city, especially at night is romantic, lovely and always a joy. (Ask for a city side table or view). You are never rushed and feel welcome to stay as long as you like. The price tag is reasonable for the quality and ambiance. Just enjoy the experience and then take an after dinner stroll on the deck where royalty, screen idols and just plain folks used to while away the hours. 4 Stars out of 4

Our server, Jesus, was AMAZING!

Jesus was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave a great wine recommendation; he even noticed my fiancé and I were on a special date and brought us some chocolate covered strawberries to end the evening (great touch). Food was just as impressive, can’t wait to go back and try something new.

We have come to Sir Winston's for years. The Chateaubriand is wonderful. The service is always top notch and the Queen is beginning to look rather regal again. After the staff saw to an untamed child and it's less than effective parents, our fantastic evening and meal continued. A great table, a great view, and a wonderful meal. Thanks Sir Winston's!

Our group arrived about an hour prior our dinner reservation and we had cocktails in the lounge. The piano player added a nice atmosphere to the evening; however, there was no cocktail server so you had to go the bar for drinks. That's about the worst I can say about our experience. We were seated in our own little quiet area at a table of 8. The view wasn't that great, but the private little area made it kind of cozy and intimate. From the service to the food to the wine to the dessert everything was perfect. Yes, it's expensive, but you sort of expect it given the high quality of the food & service. I had the Beef Wellington. Their signature dish. Our waiter was great. I certainly couldn't go there all the time; but if you are looking for a special occasion or impressive date place you really can't go wrong. Parking was easy, but it's a tad hike to get up to the restaurant. Probably not a great place if you have mobility issues. Would I go back - absolutely.

The overall atmosphere was fantastic, the food was designed for flavor and health, the service was very professional. There were five in our party and everyone ordered something different
from the dinner menu which included a balance of prepared vegetables and a meat item like
lamb, beef, or shrimp. My beef Wellington was tender and flavorful.

Came for my birthday and had a WONDERFUL time! My server was Tom, and he was Classy,Kind and Professional!! Had the " QUEENIES" scallops first. FANTASTIC. The best Scallops I have ever tasted!! Had the french onion soup,GREAT, better than I had in Paris!! Entree was the Rack of Lamb, HEAVEN!!!!
Though not listed on the menu, I told Tom I always enjoy Mint Sauce with my Lamb. Presto, out of thin air, Tom brought Mint Jelly to my table!! I have no idea where he got it? TALK ABOUT SERVICE!! Only on the Wonderful QUEEN MARY!!

I love this place. The food and the service are always excellent and I love the historic venue. We got engaged shortly before dinner, and our waiter brought us a special dessert to congratulate us.

We were so pleased with the environment, the service & the food. However, there were 2 small children that were allowed to run and scream back & forth up the aisle where we were seated at. The parents were oblivious to the noise and their distraction. It completely ruined the experience for being "quiet & romantic".

The staff was wonderful and the beef was exceptional, the lobster was a little overdone but everthing else was great.

I took my wife for a nice evening dinner to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary here and were very pleased with the whole dinning experience. The level of service and food well exceeded our expectations. Our Waiter was polite, courteous, and professional. We definitely recommend dinning at this place.

Terrific experience! I would have enjoyed a Shiraz or a New Zealand wine as part of the royal empires reaches bit outstanding service, food, & ambiance! Thank you for making my anniversary very special for my wife and me.

Very nice restaurant, with great service. The food doesn’t quite live up to the overall experience, but is still very good. Definitely a unique experience.

My husband and I enjoyed the chateaubriand for two and love every bite of it! Must get this meal! Service was wonderful and prompt. We enjoyed a lovely view of Long Beach while eating. No waiting, had a reservation.

This was our family's second time dining at Sir Winston's and it did not fail. The service is excellent and adds to the dining experience. Food is very good with great presentation. The view of course is wonderful.

Had a great time. We always go for our anniversary (we got married on the ship and had the reception at Sir Winston's. Waiter was perfect.

Our server Wilfredo was such a delight. He made our experience all the more enjoyable. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to celebrate at Sir Winston’s again.

I have visited Sir Winston's in the past for a different venue for business dinners while traveling. I had the opportunity to bring my daughters as part of a family holiday and we went their to celebrate the birthday of our oldest daughter. It is a unique environment with great food and wonderful service in my experience. Jesus was an amazing server and, after noticing my daughter's birthday in my reservation notes, was sure to bring it up at the dinner and help the experience be even more special.

Wanted to celebrate a friend's special birthday, and Sir Winston's delivered on ambience, impeccable service and food. This is white-glove service that is comfortable, attentive and allows you to enjoy the occasion and make it memorable.

The chateaubriand was fabulous. The soul meunier was mushy.

The beef wellington I had was excellently prepared and tasted great. The lobster bisque, however, was not very good, and to be honest, quite disappointing given the price point. Service was beyond fantastic, as was the ambiance. I would definitely come again, but I will avoid the bisque in the future.

Anniversary dinner

We really enjoyed walking around the ship for an hour before dinner and reading all of the interpretive panels about the stories and history of the Queen Mary. Our waiter had a friendly yet eloquent European manner and was very helpful with suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed imagining what it was like to experience Beef Wellington or Chateaubriand at sea, listening to the period jazz. We finished the evening with an after dinner drink in the Art Nouveaux Observation Bar. It was a great night!

Great service even better food. Went here for my mother’s birthday and the food was outstanding. The restaurant is expensive but it is worth it on a special occasion. We were taken care of all night. Great view of the water with the window table. Great ambience and quiet as well.

The food and wait staff were great. We had the lobster bisque and escargot appetizers and stuffed shrimp and scallops for main courses. The elegant shipboard atmosphere and history of the Queen Mary added to the enjoyment. We had an early seating and few tables we full. This made the restaurant very quiet for conversation.

Table was ready when promised. Seven of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. Great wine list! Fantastic food. Quiet enough that all of us could hear good conversation. Wonderful ambience. We all had a great time and would go again in a heartbeat.

The boat is run is run down, service was rushed and functional. Food is great, but the rest off sets a bit.
