   My family and I are big fans of Becks. This is the first mediocre review I’ve left. My favorite special, cowgirl ribeye, was not available (I love this dish) so I was disappointed before placing an order. I started with the lavender infused cocktail and the flavor was not great. Lavender can be tricky. The beet salad was very good. Ordered the filet that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The asparagus was terribly overcooked and had little flavor plus it was a very small serving. The mashed potatoes were neither rich nor indulgent. Very starchy and lackluster in terms of flavor. Butter, cream, salt and pepper sorely needed. The filet was tender and the flavor was fine but definitely not crave-able. We had a bottle of red wine and the wines are kept at room temperature which is disappointing and doesn’t give the best experience. If the cowgirl ribeye comes back to the special menu I’ll return, otherwise it might be a while. Our server was very accommodating and helpful - really appreciate her demeanor and help.

   Great young lady at the hostess stand! I think Beck’s has the best servers in Augusta. They are very personable and knowledgeable about the avaricious. They treat you like a guest. Food was outstanding from the appetizer to dessert. We will definitely go back!

   A+ service and food at Beck’s! Our broiled oysters, summer salad with blackened shrimp and pot de crème dessert was excellent. Very attentive service as well.

   Once again, Becks was amazing! The fried oysters and pimento cheese hush puppies are a great start followed by the green jacket salad with pita chips. We had the delicious specials which was the sea bass that was perfect! To finish we shared the delightful Alamo snickerdoodle like topped peach cobbler! Well done Becks!!

   We enjoyed a lovely dinner with old friends. Everything was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We will definitely book another reservation.

   I’ve visited Becks before and I’ve had way better experiences. My experience on this visit was not so great, the food was not good! Maybe they have new cooks or it was just a bad evening. I’ll be taking a break from further visits. The oysters where over cooked, the vinaigrette on the salad was extremely salty, the catfish had a funny aftertaste, the collard greens were undercooked and the black eyed peas were undercooked as well. The rice seemed old, nothing on my table was over a 5 out of 10. The highlight of the evening was the peach cobbler, that was the only thing that I’d say was delicious

   We have always enjoyed a great meal at Beck's! Linda and I shared a Caesar Salad, chicken wings and a shrimp burger. Fast, friendly, service from our server, Dalton.

    Great experience. Only comment for this first timer- the back room feels like an overflow room and is all hard surfaces, no windows and very noisy. The Main Front room, by far is where to sit. Cool vibe up there. Next time will be in the front room and then noise level will be fine and ambiance will be great. All else- food and service exceptional!
