I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was almost $20 and it came on bread that was so hard it made my gums hurt. The eggs Benedict were OK. One thing that was good was the coffee because we drank it for about 40 minutes before our food came. The ambience was amazing. It is decorated well and the staff was nice. I just won’t go back because the food was expensive and not worth the money for the quality.

Service was slow. Idk if the waitress was having a bad day or what but she rarely came to the table to check what was wanted or needed. My wife ordered the brunch Caesar with no croutons as she has a gluten allergy.. the food takes forever to come and they run out of food. They bring my wife the salad and at that time they say they ran out of eggs.. so salad was missing the egg and had croutons that she opted to just pick out instead waiting forever for it to be remade. Asked for mimosas it was mostly OJ. Would not recommend.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to my SIL, and I'm so glad that we have dined here. The restaurant is very beautiful, the seating is comfortable, and the service is excellent. The food is fantastic... I am officially addicted to their biscuits and gravy, and everything else that we have tried was delicious. We don't live far away so we don't really need to stay at the hotel, but I would stay here for the breakfast. We will be back!

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Prices a little high but we received a discount and free Mimosas because we were celebrating a birthday.

4 of us dined on Christmas Day. The menu was limited to 16 items, which is fine as long as it’s prepared well. Prime rib was on the menu but the selection of wine was limited to 5 whites and a Pinot Noir. ?! Why not a Cab to go with the red meat? The appetizer was only on our table for 30 seconds before 2 orders of prime rib were dropped. Then a couple minutes later the other two entrees arrived. Clearly no one thought to time things out, nor drop entrees at the same time. We refilled our own water glasses as no one noticed the glasses were empty. The salmon was overcooked, the risotto was mucky, the thumb-sized asparagus wasn’t shaved and the stalks were very woody, the shrimp was overcooked, the linguini was soggy, and the well-done slices of prime rib were hidden under the properly cooked slices. I’ve never eaten here before so I have no idea if this was a typical experience, but Brim House should probably not be open on holidays.

The restaurant had no idea how to time courses. Salads came after main course and the appetizer came after that. We ended up sending the salad and appetizer back since it came after the meal. We both ordered prime rib. It tasted good, but was served below temp. I’m grateful they were open for Christmas, but wish they didn’t make so many mistakes.
