Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     I was a bit disappointed with Landini Brothers. I came based on a certain bottle of wine that was listed on their online wine list, only to find out the restaurants wine list was different. My wife’s dish was a bit bland, and the short rib special I ordered, which was supposed to be in a red wine sauce instead was with a brown sauce that was more mushroom flavored. Plus, they charged $47 for the short rib special, which is a bit on the high side. Service was very good.

    Excellent service and ambience. One minor nit-picky complaint, I had the veal scallopini and shrimp special... the Marsala sauce was a bit salty as if it had been over-reduced in the pan. Otherwise, a great meal. I look forward to my next experience at Landini Brothers.

    Lindini’s is my go to, especially when dinning with out of town guess. Last night I dinned alone. Although the last three visit were mixed reviews, I’m glad I gave it one more try. All new serving crew, on patio. lamb chops melted like butter in my mouth. Service was so so good, I left $100 tip. Thank you Lindini’s for restoring my confidence in you.

    This place was recommended by several places in town. I’m from PA but have lived in CA for the past 30+ years and it’s really hard to get great, or even good, Italian food there. I wanted my wife to experience the real deal. This was it. Great food, wine, staff, decor and environment. Be sure to make recommendations and sit inside when it’s gonna be hot, but they have a beautiful area outside to dine with a view up and down King Street.

    This is not my first review for Landini’s as I have been coming here for years. I am not local to Alexandria, but when anywhere near the city, Landini’s is a required stop. I have enjoyed many varied meals, all outstanding, but this trip is was the veal. Thin, hand pounded, with a wonderful brown mushroom sauce. Most enjoyable. Desert was a silky crème brûlée. I also took an order of Penne alla Romano to go. I love the sausage they use. Service and drinks were special as well. Honestly, if you have never been here, you need to do so. Salute!

    We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday in the family - food was great! Lobster linguini, steak and spaghetti and meatballs were super! Edwin took great care of us and can’t wait to return!

    Enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the patio. Cocktails were expensive compared to the rest of the menu, but they were delicious. Food was incredible.
