Everything was perfect. From host to server to food to wine. NY steak cooked to perfection (medium rare). Wine suggestion was spot on. Excellent restaurant for any occasion.

The best Italian food the four of us have experienced in recent and distant history. Just amazing. Went family style as suggested and it was the right way to go. At first the courses came out a little fast, but after asking to slow it down, it was coursed out perfectly. Five stars on every aspect. Will be back next month when in SF again. Superb. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Seats in the back of the restaurant are removed from the street, but very dark - felt like nighttime in the full light of day. The appetizers were beautiful and the combination of the elements on the plate were so fun on the palate! Strawberries and radish with Hawaiian fish! Delicious. The Garlic Bread Focaccia was extraordinarily greasy. Parking in the area was very hard. Had to circle for 25 minutes and then parked 15 min walk away - uphill walk. Finally, while our waiter was helpful in general, it was disappointing that we were told that we could not order a couple of things from the menu to get started while the other two in our party were walking from the car. "The chef wants to have your total order at one time." This extended our wait time before receiving food. Oh, they also don't have cocktails.

We’ve been wanting to go to Seven Hills for awhile, and it was worth the wait. Everything was excellent: our server was knowledgeable and warm; every dish super tasty; and we had a wonderful time. Although seating was a bit tight and the price point high, we look forward to visiting again especially for special occasions.

We celebrated Father's Day dinner at Seven Hills. The level of service was top-notch: from the hostess who checked us in to those that cleared our table after each course. Kim T., our server, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped navigate what to order. Everything we ordered was exceptional! We will definitely return to this charming restaurant when in San Francisco.

This was a family reunion, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was top-notch too. We mentioned to our server that a particular dish wasn’t our cup of tea, and they were super responsive. They immediately offered to remove it from our bill. We ordered another pasta, and the manager came over to check-in after that. The process was very natural and comfortable. It was a contrast to some upscale restaurants where managers come in a condescending way and immediately demand harsh feedback, as if they can’t do anything else.
