Welcome to Hemingway's Brewery! We are a large brew haus situated on Cairns Wharf in an iconic, heritage listed building built in 1915, once used for storing large bags of grain and products, now serving great restaurant food options and fresh beers brewed on site.

ON TAP | Along with ALL of our core range of beers on tap, we also have Mr Wong, our mid strength FNQ Resilience Lager plus third party ginger beer and apple cider.

MENU | We have an extensive food menu including numerous pizzas, burgers, tacos, seafood, tapas and salads plus steak as well. Please note kitchen hrs are Thur-Sat 12-9pm, Sun 12-6pm (Menu on our website).

    Everyone that worked at the bar was super friendly, patient and accomodating to our big hens group. Good service was very fast and everything was fantastic. Thank you !

    A gréât place to meet friends for a social drink and lunch. Thé pizzas were great and choices of brewed beers were plentiful although the dark beer is not available currently due to the Chinese flu which was a shame. Certainly not a cheap day out if you are a consumer of alcohol. It would be great if they validated the car parking. The service was great and the location is fantastic especially if you love boats. Overall a good experience.

    Originally I made a reservation for an outside table. On arrival we were seated directly next to smokers, which we thought was against regulation to have smokers within 20 metres of eating areas. We moved a little away but the smoke was still stressing for the children and adults in our group. We requested to move inside away from the smokers, and we were eventually moved to the outdoor area at the entrance of your establishment. This really spoilt the mood of our night. Having said that, the service was great, price of food and speed of delivery of food was also great.
