Francis Ford Coppola shares his personal pantheon of recipes at RUSTIC, Francis’s Favorites, the winery’s full-service restaurant. RUSTIC’s menu embraces international as well as traditional Italian dishes, with an emphasis on family-style cooking that features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the property’s organic herb and produce garden. Authentic, Neapolitan-style pizzas are also a specialty.

RUSTIC offers service in our casual dining room and on an outdoor terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the vineyards of Alexander Valley. A bar adjacent to the restaurant also serves a full complement of cocktails and an extensive wine list.

What a beautiful lunch! We sat on the patio, overlooking the Coppola vineyards and hills in the distance. Our server Nathan was just great, making food and drink recommendations, and sharing his humor. The food was delicious - from the bread rolls to the fried zucchini, seasonal salad, pizza and pastas. There are wine flights and other options aplenty, but we had scheduled a wine tasting right after lunch, so we held off on drinking at lunch. We will be back soon!

This is a beautiful wine country location. Everything was great. The food was wonderful, the waitstaff was knowledgeable and accommodating and attentive. Overall exceptional experience.

It’s sad when a great restaurant is no longer good. Risotto was flavorless and the meatballs were tough. I won’t be back.

The service can be poor, due in part to the ineptitude in the kitchen. We have watched the overall decline for some months, and unfortunately even the ace waiter cannot cover all of the hiccups. The most common problem has been lukewam food. Twice I have ordered salmon over cauliflower puree. Each time the dish was taken back to the kitchen to be heated up, yet on its return to the table the cauliflower puree was still barely room temperature. We were told that the puree doesnt retain the heat. If this is the case then bring it to the table as soon as it is cooked. Only the salmon had been reheated after the entree was returned from the second effort at heat. Yesterday our waitress asked us if she could bring the entrees to our table. This was quite unusual, and indicates to me that the entrees had been prepared for some time, probably sitting under lights in a feeble attempt to keep them at an edible temperature. My wifes meatballs and my risotto were both lukewarm at best. We chose not to return either entree for fear of what a disgruntled kitchen employee might do. We also ordered a cesar salad, and what we received was a half portion. When I brought this to the waitresses attention she confirmed that when the price of the salad increased, the portion was downsized. What an insult. The operating hours have been recently reduced, the last reservation being at 3pm. I can see that the kitchen staff have lost whatever enthusiasm they may have had. We cannot continue to return, feeling hopeful, only to be frustrated and disapointed yet again. This has been our "go to" place for years however after we take a lenghty hiatus we may return to take a chance on a pizza. At least the pizza is normally brought to the table immediately after it is prepared, while still hot. The dramatically downsized menu should be easier for the kitchen crew however if last night is any indication, things have gone from bad to worse. The conditions have become shameful and unprofessional.

Excellent Food, service and setting. However, extremely disappointed in hearing about no longer being open for dinner. That is usually when we have dined there.

Unfortunately, we had a poor experience trying to eat at Rustic. We initially made reservation at Rustic for dinner at 5pm. Also opted to reserve a cabine to spend the day at the pool (an easy $400 cost) Then a few days before our reservation, we received a call the restaurant changed their hours to lunch only. We modified our res to 2pm (middle of the day), showed up promptly at 2pm, didn't get seated until 2:25, then waited at the table almost a half hour and still nobody came around to us. No water, no acknowledgment, just waiting. After a total wait of 45 minutes we opted to go back out to the cabine/pool since we already paid for space there and ordered food by the pool which was prompt and sufficiently good. We couldn't justify sitting and waiting inside the restaurant for so long while simultaneously paying for reserved space outside at the pool (which closes at 5pm). Felt like double dipping on part of the establishment. Don't think we'll be back nor would we recommend to others.

Phenomenal experience at Rustic!! The food was amazing, Very authentic!!! Th wines were very good! We celebrated our pre-anniversary lunch there, the staff went all out and greeted us with a Rose Sparkling wine to start… The views were spectacular! I highly recommend Rustic!! Amazing afternoon!!!
