We had yet another wonderful dinner at Moderne Barn. Cesar, our waiter, recommended the hummus appetizer special, which was quite delicious, with added grapes and other tasty ingredients. My wife ordered the Barn Salad, substituting goat cheese for gorgonzola blue cheese. She loved it. I ordered the Bibb Salad topped with tuna slices, prepared rare. The tuna was perfect and it was the most delicious meal I have had in quite a while. I was sorry when I finished it that it was gone! Our drinks were great. The service was impeccable as usual. We need to get back there much more often.

We had a delicious dinner last night at Moderne Barn. The food was great and the service was excellent. We go there frequently and are never disappointed. It’s a great local hot spot!

Modern barn is a gorgeous huge restaurant with high ceilings, large windows and great decor. The bar area is gorgeous as well. We sat upstairs on the 2nd floor which overlooks the 1st floor. My guests loved the salmon, and shrimp special. Our drinks were made perfectly. I wasn’t fond of my chicken dish though. It seemed a bit overcooked but the accompanying vegetables were fantastic. Overall a great experience & would highly recommend!

Wonderful lunch. We shared the roasted beet salad which was perfect for a hot summer day. I had the heirloom tomato BLT which had to be the best BLT I ever had. My guest had the fish tacos which she said were delicious. Service was friendly and skilled.

We really love the vibe here and would definitely return. I would make a few recommendations with regard to the food and hope they listen and tweak these items. We started with the whipped burrata with the basil, peaches and hazelnuts. This was just ok as the peaches were hard, and not much flavor with regard to the rest of it, with the exception of the basil and it is served on a plain piece of bread which lends nothing. Definitely not worth the price tag but has potential if served with crisp bread and added flavor. For now, I would skip. Also, the Caesar salad with salmon was really good but served in this tiny bowl which made it hard to eat. It should be on a larger plate or bowl so you can reach the salad and protein together. Also, the brioche croutons are incredibly unremarkable but could be great. Too small, too many and too soft. Make them bigger, crunchy and less! Husband loved the BLT sandwich and fries and the biscuits are great. So many good option and great service so we will be back but just a few misses on some items.
