                                                                                  I was part of a table of 5. Two steaks were not cooked as requested but both people still enjoyed them. Very expensive and nothing to really justify the high price tag. $55.00 for sea bass, a 6 oz portion, makes you feel like you're being taken advantage of when every other restaurant would charge $35 for the same piece of fish. $85 for a porterhouse that isn't anything special... I like Gibson's and usually have a good experience. However, the pricing of their food doesn't correlate to the comps in the area. Service is always excellent and the ambiance makes you feel like your downtown. Cocktails are always perfect too.

                                                                                  Dan was our server, he was great. He went over the menu and answered questions for us. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Dan recommended we share our side dishes, so that’s what we did. Everything was delicious.

                                                                                  We live nearby and visit about once a month and are always pleased - the whitefish is always a hit in particular. Our one observation that could be improved upon relates to an oddly placed table right by the host stand in the corner of the entryway - the table does not fit nor belong in that space and everyone we witnessed seated there seemed uncomfortable and unhappy - just get rid of that table.

Even the support servers were on point!!! Gibson Oak Brook is the best for a reason...amazing food and service....no one else does it better!
