Such a great dinning experience at Aria. Came here after a work conference to grab dinner with some friends. The service was amazing, food tasted great, and the energy in the restaurant was great as well.

Way too loud in there. Have to scream across the table to converse with friends. Need to add more options on the menu for people who don’t eat seafood or meat.

Had a server, I believe her name was Chanel. She was amazing. So sweet, kind, very informative on the menu and helped a lot on suggestions. She went above and beyond in service.

Very noisy. Service was great. Drinks were great. Roasted carrot salad had wonderful flavor but carrots were tough. My wife’s risotto di mare’ was outstanding while my catch of the day was over-cooked and dry. A mixed experience for first timers. We would try again if we lived here.

Dinner at 6:30 on Saturday evening before a show at Belk Theatre - restaurant failed miserably in trying to manage spike demand in a relatively short window.

I was there with 3 other people for the theatre We arrived at 5.15 everything was quiet Our waiter wtook our order My friend ordered a white wine which was not chilled (we did not know that you have to ask for a wine glass otherwise you get it in a tumbler The waiter asked us if wanted water He half filled the glasses and left the empty bottle on the table He never came back and refilled it Did not ask me if I wanted another cappuccino My friend asked for lemons three times In the end the busboy brought 2 lemons The food was good The manager came over to see what the problem was She did took care of our desserts and took 20 percent off the bill She genuinely cared about the service and how to make things right

Matt our server was great. Food was also excellent. We had a 7 PM reservation and we’re seated a little later, but it was OK. Crowd noise was excessive and due to people not getting up from their tables. We ended up sitting on a stairway. Not a typo. As stated the food was excellent, so where we sat was not as important as how good the food and service was. The only reason I did not provide five stars was because the menu that was reflected on their website was nowhere present when we were in the restaurant. When I questioned this, I was told that in the last couple of months the menu has changed two times. Again, not a biggie, however, the items that I really wanted that I saw great reviews only a few days ago and on their website were nowhere to be found on the menu. Additionally, items that were on their own website were much more expensive in the restaurant. For example, the chicken Parm on the their website is $17, in the restaurant it’s $25. I suggest that this type of misrepresentation be fixed. Short of that, our experience was excellent, food was excellent, service was excellent, and I highly recommend the daily catch (striped bass)

This was our first visit Aria Tuscan Grill for dinner prior to seeing “Charlotte Squawks”, the annual satire of all things that occurred this past year in Charlotte. For some reason we just hadn’t had a previous opportunity to dine here. Now that we have, we will definitely return, as it turned out to have a terrific menu selections changing with each season. Our menu was the last two weeks of their Spring menu. What a treat the food was. We had fritto misto, the burrata, the Sicilian focaccia, the rigatoni, the filet mignon, the risotto with shrimp, crab, and scallops, and two special desserts. Every dish was fresh, perfectly prepared and seasoned, and a delight to the eye, nose and palate. Best of all, Aria is a comfortable and unpretentious restaurant with a superb staff (hello Chanel!) in Uptown with an extraordinary mix of patrons of all ages, ethnicities, families with children, etc. Aria Tuscan Grill isn’t a chain restaurant nor is it part of a large group of similarly owned restaurants. Management is on site visiting every table to assess how they are doing. We were extremely impressed with every aspect of our experience at Aria.
