Short menu so have a look before you go...we had Sunday lunch and it was delicious and generous. Tables are quite close together and there were a lot of children so quite noisy but the atmosphere felt very warm and friendly instead of hectic. Staff are just an absolute delight....highly recommended.

Great setting and lovely staff but would have left hungry The restaurant is in a quirky renovated barn overlooking the river, surrounded by a few pubs and bars. A really cool location and a great place to sit. While we were eating, there was an incredible display from what I think were kites or buzzards flying outside the window, playing with crows. It was genuinely beautiful to watch. The food, however, was a letdown. I started with a single small beef skewer, just one, for £12. I thought maybe the main would make up for it, so I ordered the Brazilian fish stew. It tasted fine but again, very small. There just wasn’t much there. When asked how the meal was, I explained that I eat in a lot of places and I’m open to different styles, but if you’re going to serve very small portions, you need to offer something like a decent bread to balance things out. Not to pad the plate, but to avoid leaving customers disappointed. Bread is such a simple, low cost addition that can really help. To his credit, the server, possibly the manager and maybe Spanish, was genuinely warm and responsive. He brought me some bread straight away and thanked me for the feedback, which I really appreciated. Without that, I’d have walked away still hungry. I’m not criticising the finances of the place, I know restaurants have to make tough choices, but if a customer is wondering where the nearest McDonald’s is after a meal, there’s something to rethink. Three stars from me. The setting is great, the staff are lovely, but the food experience left me wanting more.

Quite a small menu but there were options for a range of dietary requirements including vegan. Extensive wine list. Service was excellent from all staff, very professional and attentive. Beautiful setting for a special occasion. Food was beautifully presented and portion sizes were good. Both meals (Moqueca and Chickpea and coconut curry) were of a very good quality- a range of fish and seafood items which were all cooked perfectly. We will definitely return.

Sunday lunch was delicious as usual have had it several times yes you pay alittle extra but its worth it My husband had the grilled fish stew which was beautiful but it needed something else with it some rice as it was not sufficient to fill him
