    Ambiance & food is great. The only issue was very slow service, in spite of plenty of staff. Server missed on one drink and one meal that were ordered and thus delivered late. Previously, service was great. not sure what the issue was given the level of staffing, so hoping it was a one off night. The restaurant was not full on this weeknight.

    Amazing dinner. Service, food and table outside were perfect. This restaurant never disappoints. My wife made it a point to tell the hostess how impressed we were with our overall experience as we left.

    Customers for years, we love this place, most especially its incredible redwood trees. Cuisine has been inventive and very good. Yesterday, the service was below par: too slow, and at the same time, when it happened, rushed ie inattentive. You know they are having trouble with even the water doesn't arrive, and has to be 'ordered' twice. The mains took about 20 mins. In addition, the NY prime steak, the most expensive item on their menu, was tasty, but a bit tough - no 'melt-in-your-mouth' here. On the other hand, the artichoke soup was excellent. Hoping they do better next time.

    We have been here many times and have always enjoyed it. A lot. This was a disappointment. Our reservation was for 5:00 and we were the first to arrive. They put us at a table far away from everybody. All shade. No ambience. The service was excellent but the food was not top notch. My tri tip though was excellent. But the Rigatoni allá vodka plate was unspectacular. Very blah. The Salmon was really good. So two out of three isn’t so bad.

    Beautiful dining destination and highly recommended. Service was world class exceptionally wonderful and food was impeccably prepared and plated. Risotto with Prawns was delicious with great flavor. Filet of Sole was a dinner special and excellent. Pappadelle with Beef Ragu was classic and yummy. Our server helped to pair a lovely wine with our meals. Definitely plan to return soon for another gorgeous dinner experience under the redwood trees.

    We enjoyed another great dinner at Parkside. Our special requests were readily accommodated. The chicken dish is great and its combination of vegetables and mac and cheese for sides make it a hearty meal. The salmon was prepared perfectly and well complemented by a potato puree and fresh carrots. The ahi tuna was fresh and rare as requested. The grilled pita and fresh breads were an added surprise to begin the meal. And we ordered the side of sweet potato fries , which were unlike any we have had. They are house cut, thick, and a good balance of a crispy outside and a meaty body. Great job by all and everyone makes you feel at home at this neighborhood establishment of fine dining.
