The Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for à la carte dining. The chefs have curated a delicious seasonal menu showcasing their own pasture-fed Lincoln Red beef, game and Kitchen Garden produce from the Doddington Estate along with the finest locally sourced and British ingredients.

Enjoy their selection of teas and coffee, expertly prepared by their Stokes trained baristas and treat yourself to delicious homemade cake.

We have eaten at Doddington Grain store on several occasions and never had any issues. I’d recommended it to my son and daughter in law and it was their first time visiting. We had issues from the start as the table wasn’t ready, and the host was not very welcoming and we were seated approximately 15 minutes late. We ordered quite quickly but then my daughter’s meal was wrong and so she had to wait. She was offered a complementary drink. We had all nearly finished our meals when hers arrived! We then ordered desert, again three arrived and we ended up waiting for the other two. They didn’t charge for the two late deserts. My son said he’d probably not eat there again, and couldn’t understand why we liked it so much! This saddens me as my husband and I love it so much. Unfortunately, due to this meal I won’t be recommending The Grain Store again.

I was dissappointed with my jacket potatoe. I had had it the week before and it was great loads of filling and a wonderful plate of salad. However on Friday it was very dissapointing,the filling was very poor. My friend had a Cesar Salad and although she didn't say anything she left a bowl of lettuce and the croutons were so big& Hard she couldn't get her fork in them.

We have been many times but was very very disappointed - the summer food menu was poor and the service very very poor . We had to chase every drinks order and the service got worse as the night went on. This was an anniversary dinner too so a special celebration !

A lovely meal shared with special friends. Good quality food which everyone enjoyed. Nothing was too much trouble for our friendly and efficient waitress. We will certainly be back!

Food was excellent. Not a huge choice but it meant what was there was of the highest quality. Service was faultless with knowledgeable and attentive staff. It’s quite a big place and it wasn’t very full when we went which made it quiet but overall would recommend.

We have visited the Grainstore on numerous occasions and this is the first time we were disappointed. The menu is more relaxed and felt a bit “pubby”, definitely not up to the usual a la carte menu we have seen in the past. This visit was meant to be special as it was for my daughter’s birthday and it was not special. Hope it can go back the fine dining we have been used to.

We've been on many occasions for the sunday lunch birthdays, the Christmas lunch menu and mother's day and various other Sundays had a great experience but to be honest father's day was disappointing no starter menu's anymore, the roast beef sunday lunch was Luke warm and no longer are the vegetables served separately in warm dishes that was a nice touch . Sadly with plenty of other options in the Lincoln area we won't be rushing back .
