The Cub Room is an American Restaurant located in the South Wedge Area of Rochester. We are first a family that lives here with our 2 kids and we love this city. We have taken our experience from over 20 years in NYC, working in fine restaurants to offer up an homage to an era in time when service and dining meant only the best. We let the seasons drive and inspire our menu, with a great network of purveyors locally, regionally, and beyond, we go to great lengths to source products with integrity for our food and beverage programs. We are a place of camaraderie, where we encourage you to indulge, imbibe, and smile.

This was our third visit to the Cub Room, and we truly love the place. While the food is absolutely outstanding, it does get a bit pricey with so many items being ala carte. The portions are a bit small. The selection is fabulous, and the food is exceptionally prepared and presented. We’d just like a tad more with each serving!

Great beer selection, great service. The only reason I didn't give 5 across the board was simply because of a limited menu. Other than that, you can't go wrong.

Mike was an exceptional server. We enjoyed our impromptu dinner with friends. There was a nice variety in the offerings and food was tasty.

The ambience was nice, and the service was good. As far as the food goes, highly recommend the appetizers, pass on the main dishes. Over salted and just meh. Nice place but won’t go again for the price.

I Would recommend almost completely based on the food which was outstanding! The atmosphere/decor leaves something to be desired but OK. Make sure to ask for a banquette as it’s a little cozier

Our meal was delicious as usual. The service was also outstanding. Liam at the bar made us my favorite cocktail and the rest of my guests all enjoyed the same. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
