The Crown is a new gastronomic pub created from the collaboration of the Medicine Bakery team with Joules Brewery. Located in the heart of Codsall, The Crown offers a modern take on traditional pub food using fresh, seasonal ingredients and inspired cooking techniques.

The Crown also has an extensive Ale and Beer list with a focus on local and sustainable producers. There is also a wide selection of wine and cocktails created by expert Mixologists.

Regularly eat here, fantastic food and ambience. It was really busy but we were still looked after, dishes arrived in good time and staff are friendly and clearly enjoy working there. We had a lovely time.

Food was disappointing, the Poutin had watery gravy and under cooked chips, the chicken strips felt like they were frozen and over air fried because they were really dry and likewise with the wings. Not as good as it used to be so won’t return for food

We had a wonderful Saturday evening. The pub was busy but from the dining area you wouldn’t know it. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in answering our menu questions. We ordered pizzas, they were delicious . Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

It was an okay meal, meals weren’t very warm, but tasted good. Didn’t receive a particularly warm welcome on arrival. This improved as we were leaving. Probably won’t return.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch for three here and will definitely be coming back to try the regular menu. Nice roast beef and special mention for the puddings - we tried three between us and they were all delicious. We were made to feel very welcome, and the local beer was great too. We had to leave too quickly - I'd have happly settled in for the afternoon.

Tasted really nice just small portions for the price, service ok at the start but got busy so had to go to the bar. Didn't mind that but then to add a service charge on top without asking is a bit unfair as we waited 40 minutes for the bill to be told to pay at the bar.
