While this restaurant was the most expensive in our two week Italy tour the view and the food was outstanding. The servers were attentive and the quality was superb.

Excellent location on the Giudecca canal, away from the chaotic tourist routes. You dine almost with your feet in the water looked after by the professional and kind staff enjoying traditional Cipriani dishes

The food was outstanding, albeit expensive, but it’s Harry’s do you expect expensive. The service was ok, but nothing special. The location was good, but a bit of a trek from St Marco.

We lovvved Harry’s Dolci at Palanca…. It was the highlight of our Venice experience!! Service, food, and desserts!!!

We had a memorable meal at Harry’s Dolci. The bread basket was particularly impressive, offering great variety and freshness. The natural sautéed mussels were fresh and full of flavor—definitely a highlight. The fried king prawns and calamari with Goffredo potatoes, while tasty, were a bit too salty, and the potatoes weren’t as crispy as expected. The millefoglie with Chantilly cream was outstanding—the best dessert we've had in a while, and it truly left a lasting impression. Service was mixed. While a couple of staff members were attentive and welcoming, others appeared rather reserved, with little warmth or expression. At this price point, you’d expect a more consistently polished level of hospitality. That said, being seated outdoors as requested allowed us to enjoy a stunning sunset and the lively view of the canal, which made the evening feel special.

I did not realize how hard it is to get to Harry’s Dolci. It’s a great location right on a canal- but it requires water taxi to get there.

We had an excellent dinner experience. We have been going to Harry Cipriani‘s on fifth Avenue for many years and always wanted to come to their original one in Venice. It did not disappoint. We had a table on the canal, which was magical in the evening. The service as always was impeccable. We will be back.
