Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

Lovely restaurant and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Looked after us really well and the food was excellent. Would heartily recommend.

Fantastic restaurant, went with a group of friends on Saturday night, great ambience, brilliant and personable staff, service was excellent and food, which was why we came here, was totally on point. Starters were generous in size, flavours in all courses were great and dining was relaxed. Pricing was as expected for this level of dining. Definately would recommend and we would return next time in York.

I had asked for recommendations where to eat in York and Lucia came up time and time again. Having visited last night, I understand why and will myself have no hesitation in recommending it in future. The bruschetta starter was delicious and the lasagna main ranks in my top 5 best lasagnas of all time (and there have been A LOT!!). My daughter-in-law had mussels for her starter and they were huge! She chose beef medallions for her main and says they were exceptional. Tiramisu & Berry Pavlova desserts were also phenomenal. We loved the vibe, the staff were excellent and all in all it was a really special dining experience. We can't wait to return.

Overall we had a lovely experience, food and service were good. Limited brunch menu… one pizza type? But additional requests accommodated

The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately there was a table of 6 women nearby who were ridiculously noisy. The waiter kindly turned down the music so that they were not competing against that and was apologetic but it did spoil our lunch.

Six of us enjoyed a fabulous Saturday lunch. Staff were all efficient and friendly. Food was spot on.

A very good experience staff absolutely brilliant the starter was mine but slightly cooler than I would like meat balls. Great atmosphere aswell

WOW yet again another fabulous meal at Lucia’s. Superb ambience, the service and food is excellent. I’m so pleased with the vast Gluten Free choices, I’m working my way through the menu. Tess our waitress was informative, tentative, and gave exceptional service. See you all again soon, can’t wait.
