The food was good but when we had finished no one came to clear our table for absolutely ages, we were not offered any desserts or even asked if we required any tea or coffee. The live music was fantastic! But the service left much to be desired… won’t be returning

My burger was OK but my wife's fish was served very, very well done, almost black. The batter was inedible.

The menu was very limited, however what we chose was ok, but expensive for what it was. £5 for a bowl of Koffman Fries (plain old chips), Korean Chicken with green onion (spring onion sliced and not a lot) and the scampi special. Bottle of Fanta, bottle Diet Coke at £3.40 or £3.50 each very pricey. The one waitress very friendly and chatty, others not so much, no atmosphere in room, toilets closed, could only use disabled outside restaurant that needs looking at as door is warped and sticks at the top, really have to pull it hard to shut. Sadly also not Open a lot over this next week due to staff issues, but I do not feel we would use again whilst we are here.

Very ltd menu, paid £28 for a steak, steak was good but it was a steak and some french fries, bit of lettuce. The sauce that came with it was tasteless and not very pleasant at all. Wife had fish and chips and this was actually good. Views are beautiful but the food mediocre. Paid £78 for a drink each and main and desert. Maybe just a bad night The staff were lovely though. No complaints there.

Lack of choice of drinks, many were out of stock. Eg only one type of white wine- Chardonnay. Beer & lager choice poor too Service was very slow and not attentive. Overall would not rush back.sirloin steak was very disappointing and not great quality. Steak pie, curry and chicken good

Our meal at the Eden restaurant at whitbarrow was really lovely, the food and service was excellent. Our only complaint would be that the full menu wasn't available & we had looked earlier & decided on starters, which none of were available due to only 1 chef. Other than that, it is a lovely restaurant & bar with spectacular views & the 2 young girls working were very pleasant & efficient. It was my partners birthday so we pre-booked & there was a 'happy birthday' message on our table on arrival, which was a nice little touch.

Booked in advance. Rather lovely complimentary bottle of wine given. An offer due to a Monday booking and having booked in advance. It's our Silver Wedding anniversary and I did state this on the booking. Initially the Service was absolutely first class however the main course was a problem for me due to flies on the plate which appeared to come from the meal itself. This put me off however I was prepared to consider it may just be due to the Patio doors being open and planned to order a sweet. Unfortunately we sat for an extended period whilst the table next to us were offered served and ate a sweet. and were in the process of paying the bill. At that stage i asked the Waitress to clear our plates and she did so. Whilst the table next to us were paying the bill and chatting to the Waiter at length we were finally asked if we would like to see the desert menu. I replied that half an hour earlier we may of been interested however now we were not and asked for the bill. Unfortunately for them the deserts, coffee and additional drinks we would of purchased never materialised. Perhaps need to reconsider their customer service skills
