   Had a lovely experience for my daughters Birthday meal. Nice table, cosy atmosphere and wonderful service from guy with dark hair & ponytail ( sorry didn’t get his name!) We both throughly enjoyed our starters and mains and shared a yummy dessert! Thanks so much for such a nice evening

   We went on Saturday evening for 1815hrs and unfortunately there was a very drunken group at the bar watching football, very loud , not what we were expecting as its in the grounds of a very beautiful Hotel. Service was very good, friendly and attentive staff. The table wasn't clean there were marks from previous drinks and salt and pepper crumbs, needed a wipe over after last people, cutlery was clean though. we ordered sour dough bread starter which was extremely good, lasagne that came with garlic bread, very nice, slow roast pork belly, which was disappointing, very very dry potato small amount of cabbage and small chewy piece pork. I ordered side of green veg for £6. didn't feel value for money. service was already added on to the bill with no option to change. just under £80 felt like a lot for what we were served. Wouldn't go back.

   Only positive was the guy who was our waiter, the food, especially the curry was God awful, and supposedly receipt was worked up with Michelin starred Chef? Michelin tyre supplier more like !!

   Third of four meals for our stay at Linden Hall. Amazing service and the food was lovely. Some nice specials on as well. Special shout out to James, Michael and Tracy who were brilliant. Definitely worth a visit.

    As main meal had chicken in creamy sauce. Meal was smaller than expected and sauce watery. Staff were very friendly, didn’t complain but was dissatisfied. Also thought the 10% optional service charge was expensive.
