The food as always was delicious however the new summertime menu includes price rises which are considerable Sadly the selection of rose is depleted and the Spanish rose at £8.50 a 175 ml glass down deliver Cocktails, whilst fashionable, are very expensive at £10 each

4 diners all had different choices. Skate wing good gamba pil pil lovely as was pork belly starter. Catch of day, lemon sole very good

Overall very good, service was great as was the food even if the potions were a little on the small side. Would recommend ans would book.

A lovely venue for our anniversary meal. excellent service and outstanding food. We went on a Friday lunchtime out of season which was quiet, but I imagine that at a different time it would be very much busier, with a different ambiance and service. Having said that, it was recommended by a few locals, and obviously has an excellent reputation. We have no hesitation in recommending Springtide - keep up the excellent work and have a great season.

We enjoyed our evening here and the quality of the food was excellent and the staff were really polite and helpful. The evening was slightly let down by the speed of service, we waited about 45 minutes between our starter plates being collected and main courses. While we did not point this out there was no recognition from the staff that things were a bit slow. While not the establishments fault we also heard some customers talking amongst themselves about the numbers of customer dogs. Which I have to agree with, as not all the owners were as responsible for their dogs behaviour and barking as others which can become annoying after a while Personally for the prices the starters and main dishes were on the small side. We didn't feel they were great value for money, even though they were of good quality and well cooked. The desserts on the other hand were a decent size and felt like a luxurious way to end our meal. We would return to Spring tide in the future as it's a lovely place to eat. But the long delays and VFM factor was something we felt affected our overall enjoyment of the night.

Chowder was excellent as was the cod. Particularly enjoyed the sardines starter. Service was excellent.

We booked the Springtide at Charlestown for my Birthday and we were not disappointed the staff were so friendly and helpful, the complimentary glass of prosecco was a nice touch as well. The food was delicious and plentiful a varied menu to suit everyone it was busy and there was a lovely atmosphere we can highly recommend this restaurant and its in a beautiful setting a lovely outside dining area as well with views of the harbour and sea.

Lovely restaurant but the portion sizes, especially the starters were small, and the cost per main too expensive. The staff were very friendly albeit there was quite a wait between starters and mains. The meals were generally excellent albeit the seafood chowder was way too lemony.

The food was excellent but found the service very slow my husband and I were seated quickly and given menus and the specials board, no drinks were offered. There was another server who was really helpful especially with the baby. Didn't get her name unfortunately. Our food arrived and it was stunning. After a very long time our plates were taken and given dessert menus we all chose what we wanted. Our server was at the bar on her phone and we waited and waited baring in mind we had a one yr old who was getting bored, still on her phone. So we got fed up and paid and left. Whether you are 1st in or last the service should be the same. Such a shame as our food was lovely.
