   We are from Leeds in Yorkshire so we know a bit about Sunday roasts with Yorkshire Puddings The meal was exceptional , the beef we ordered was , one rare & one well done , it was delicious, tender & cooked to perfection . We have decided to move to the area & become regulars !!

   This is one of our favourite restaurants and bar. The staff, food, drinks and ambience is first class. We highly recommend it to all our family and friends and they always come back and tell us they will definitely be going back.

   The restaurant is comfortable and well-appointed with classy table furniture. The staff were attentive and helpful, hanging back when we wanted more time, but always there to help. The waiter even pointed out that they’d already added the service charge when I tried to add a tip to the bill. It was an experience I’d try to repeat.

   The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Staff are very welcoming and service is excellent. Food quality was really good and well presented. I was with a group of eight adults and we all would happily return.

   This was our umpteenth visit to No.59 for Sunday lunch. And it did not disappoint. It was busy, as always on a Sunday but it did not feel crowded. Service was friendly, welcoming and very efficient. We ordered the roast and between us had the beef, chicken and lamb. All hearty platefuls and all good food well prepared and presented. No chance of making it to the desserts. Sadly. This is the best restaurant in the area and possibly the best Sunday lunch in the entire universe. We will be back.

    First time at no 59 Townhouse Morpeth. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were looked after without being smothered. Everyone from the delightful young lady who bought us our food to the efficient and friendly gentleman who took our order were professional and friendly. The food was lovely. I dont have any complaints at all except I could not finish my meal, too much. I have never seen yorkshire puddings that big.. Well worth the money. We will be back
