   The food was delicious, fresh, and the servings were ample. The beer list is extensive. The meal was well paced and the service was attentive without being cloying. The pasta was amazing.

   Food and service were great! Definitely make a reservation! Portion sizes were bigger than expected and pastas were amazing!

   We had a wonderful celebration dinner at Caruso’s Grocery. Our food was excellent from the lightly breaded chicken parm to several different kinds of pasta and the fresh garlic bread. We also enjoyed a few desserts, especially the tiramisu and the creme brûlée. They even brought a free glass of champagne for the guest we were celebrating. The kids and adults all enjoyed the meal. Throughout the evening the staff was helpful, friendly, and available, but not intrusive. The restaurant was somewhat noisy but not so loud as to make it so we could not hear each other. The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the restaurant was relaxed, not stuffy. I would highly recommend this restaurant for date night or a family meal.

   I was disappointed in the food and felt it was very overpriced. I ordered a pasta dish that was one of the specials. It was described as pasta in a Marsala sauce with bacon and broccolini. I did not detect any bacon in the dish and the broccolini was so bitter that it was inedible . In general the dish was just not good and it was very expensive.

   Amazing place for restorative and delicious lunch. Excellent service. Ask for bread at lunch if you want it and it’s brought right away. I’ll be back! With friends.

   Second time recently at Caruso’s. The food was everywhere from ok to excellent. The excellent was the calamari appetizer. The shrimp scampi is unusually sweet. The gnocchi is always very tasty but an oddly small portion. The chicken Parmesan is a good size portion and would make your grandmother proud, but is quite standard. The Oreo cheesecake did not taste like Oreos or cheesecake, more just a decent whipped dessert. Service was disappointing and the staff knew it. Waiter was absent for long periods, food arrived with a rushed group of runners who played “who gets the …?” Roulette. Waiter brought us complimentary limoncello at one point, seemingly trying to make up for the lackluster service. Manager touched our table once, quite briefly. After the crowd that was present when we arrived has cleared out (cleared at 8:45 on a Wednesday) the staff conveyed a distinct feeling of waiting for us to leave. Do they close at 9:30? Overall I still like Caruso’s but uneven service changes the last “let’s go back soon” into no need to rush back.

We had an unusually busy night during your visit and had a few brand-new team members running food, just a couple of days into training and still finding their rhythm. That said, we absolutely aim to maintain composed, attentive service regardless, and I’m sorry it felt uneven at times. While we do close the kitchen at 9PM, we never want our guests to feel rushed—your comfort is always a priority. The limoncello was intended as a small gesture of hospitality, not a bandage for the experience, and I’m sorry if it felt otherwise.    This is just the perfect red sauce place. Excellent food. Great for families or date night. Very reasonably priced and fantastic service. A modern take on classic Italian American. Just delightful!

   From the hostess staff at the front of the restaurant to our actual server, Sam, everything was great! Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service. I can’t wait to return!

   Our waitress was so kind and the food was amazing as always. We started with the calamari (one of my favorites). They subbed the sauce my mom got with no problem. The only improvement I would suggest is make a better bread - ours seemed a bit stale

    We have enjoyed many dinners at Caruso's Grocery. Today was the first time we came for brunch. Food and service were excellent. We will be back again. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Montgomery County.
