MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is defined by what we aren’t, as opposed to what we are. We aren’t like other steakhouses. No dark lighting, starched tablecloths, pretentious servers or overpriced steaks. From our signature steaks to our famous Mikeburger®, we have something for every taste and budget. We came to this restaurant on Mother’s day and we waited for our food for over 1 hour and 30 minutes with the worst service we have ever gotten anywhere.The waitress we had came over to us 20 minutes later when we were finally sited.She was avoiding us as much as possible u t until we asked her to come and take our order.I do understand with mother’s Day and any other celebration it can take a bit to get your order but this was ridiculous.So,we have it a another chance on Father’s Day,long behold we get the same waitress and in the same area..She had remembered us and was hoping we have a better experience.We ordered our food,nothing too big but asked for tortilla chips, which took them 30 minutes to make. we didn’t even get our actual dinner yet. I had to leave her down again and ask her if the tortilla chips were gonna come out anytime soon and she said it was all backed up as we looked around every table almost had their food.We finally got our tortilla chips and then told the other waiter instead.It seemed to us that she was very rude and didn’t wanna get her food or interact with us. We did not have a good service with her however, when we got our wait, he was great. He was on point. He did his job everything was good with him so I just don’t understand.

This was supposed to be a convenient bday dinner. My sister just moved within walking distance to Mr. Mikes. I chose the location for two reasons 1. proximity 2. I wanted a good steak dinner for my birthday. I made an online reservation for seven people. My sister went into the restaurant a few days later to select an good table for our group. When we showed up to the restaurant, they had us seated in an entirely different area. The staff proceeded to argue with my sister about the table choice at our table. We are not off to a good start. We then tried to order a few items but were informed that they were unavailable. Once we figured that all out we ordered our appies. I used the men’s room which was dirty and out of hand towels. I then informed one of the staff, and when I went to the bathroom, a second time they still hadn’t replaced the hand towels. We then ordered dinner and decided to order a bottle of wine. We were then informed by the floor manager, the wine we chose was $2 more a bottle. The new price was not on our “old menus” Everyone in our group had the same menus. So first after messing up the table selection and not having menus choices they then wanted to charge us $2 extra dollars which was an insult. We will never go back there again. With all that other choices in the area, we chose Mr. Mike’s and were very disappointed. It was not my best birthday dinner.

When we went to order, we were informed they were out of steaks. Too noisy, and booths too small.

Food was served cold. Rice with the poke bowl was undercooked and crunchy so we had to eat around it. Waters were never refilled. Napkins were also not offered with desert, even forgot the kids spoons for their Sundays. We were given the wrong bill but felt so rushed to get out by staff that we didn’t notice and over paid by 40$, yet we still tipped 20%. We left feeling very ripped off and not welcome.

Even though it was a Friday evening, it was an easy process to get a reservation using the Open Table app. The food was very good and the service was great too. Totally recommend.
