Argoe is a casual harbourside restaurant serving the best of local Cornish produce. We focus on fish and seafood, landed here in Newlyn, and take inspiration from traditional European methods of cooking.     A really disappointing dinner. We’d heard about argoe through friends and online forums so booked ourselves in for dinner. The food completely lacked in taste and instead was simply over salted. We loved the thought of a more simplistic menu which relied on amazing fish and fresh ingredients, but it was not the case. Perhaps we simply caught them on a bad night, but that is our experience unfortunately.

    This was our first visit and by comparison to others we are probably small eaters and so we would order fewer plates next time we visit
