   Lovely meal at The Bay. Did get lost trying to find it but that was because I didn't realise the restaurant was inside The Sands Hotel, doh! Other than that great food and great service

   It was a lovely ambience with the female singer providing just the right level of background live music. The food was again delicious, very well presented and the wine of a very good standard too. Despite being a little more expensive than the last time we were there, we had a very pleasant evening. It's our favourite place to eat in W-S-M on special occasions, and without exception the best.

   Had a great meal, service was perfect and steaks were cooked as we wanted. The Crème brûlée to finish was heaven . Definitely return sometime

   Booked for wedding anniversary meal. Pleasantly surprised at the decor and surroundings , we were welcomed and taken to a seating area near the bar. We were given complimentary welcome drinks which was a nice touch. Ordered a cocktail from the cocktail menu but the waiter informed us that the cocktail "machine" was broken and we would have to choose something else? He thought that they could possibly make a pornstar martini and would give it a try! 5 minutes later he served the original cocktail that we ordered and said that they had managed to fix the machine. It was served in a long glass without a straw and the waitress asked if it tasted OK as she had never mixed one before. We were given food menus - printed on 3 sheets of thin photocopy paper. The menu was quite limited and seemed to be an odd mix of flavours and food combinations! All accompaniments were priced separately and there was not much choice. 2 types of chips, garlic/chilli broccoli, mushrooms, creamed spinach and macaroni cheese???? We both ordered steak and chose a selection of accompaniments. I was hoping to order a seafood option as a main course but disappointed to see that the 2 fish options were both served with very strong flavoured sauces - hake with harrisa and monkfish with a green sauce. I was hoping for something a bit more delicate that would compliment the flavour of the fish. We ordered a sharing humus dip starter which was presented nicely and was full of flavour. Our steaks arrived shortly after we had finished our starter. I ordered the fillet (medium rare) and my wife ordered rib eye (medium/well) Took 5minutes for our chips to arrive and then a further 5 minutes for broccoli and mushrooms to arrive! My steak was cooked perfectly -wife's was over cooked (not a trace of pink) Ordered bottle of still water - this was served at room temp as they didn't have any chilled. Given some ice in a cracked glass. lovely decor, strange menu and haphazard service and expensive

   staff were wonderful and really made an effort to include my 2.5 year old. we had a really lovely time and the food was lovely. the food was a bit more expensive than the pricing on their website for example the half lobster was £20 on the example menu online but when we arrived was actually £28.

   Despite being the only two customers in restaurant on a Friday evening, the waitress still managed to bring out the wrong starter for my partner. On realising her own error she whisked away the plate of fried oysters, rather than leave them as an apology and returned over 10 mins later with 3 scallops shells dripping in oil, by which time I had long finished my whitebait. We complained about how awlful the scallops were and was told this would be feedback to chef. Maybe this was communicated as not enough oil as the garlic bread and Caesar salad that came with the mains was also drowned in the stuff. I was surprised to see that we had been charged for the scallops on the bill. It is a lovely looking restaurant and a good menu. They have tried to create an intimate venue and make you feel special with a complimentary drink and amous-Bouche. Sadly they have failed to realise that standard of service and quality of food are more important, especially as it is being promoted as one of Weston’s most high end restaurants

   Lovely restaurant with good quality food. Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. We booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

   This is your go to place for something special our Sunday Lunch experience was lovely. We would definitely go again and recommend.

    Had a lovely evening. On arrival we were greeted and given a complimentary glass of prosecco. Our waitress Megan, was very helpful throughout the evening. The food was presented well, hot and very tasty.
