   A very nice place to eat. The food was excellent with a warm welcome as always by the host. The service was just a little bit slow. I can highly recommend this place.

   Excellent The 3 course lunch menu for £28.50 is very good value. The dishes we had I would probably have chosen anyway though how often do you see rabbit rillettes? Our friend who is knowledgeable about wine was very impressed with the wine list. He thought we were so lucky to have such an outstanding pub. We agree

   Absolutely fantastic experience. The food menu is incredible, it's hard to choose! Price is a great for the quality of food, definitely one of if not the best places for food in Rutland and surrounding areas!

   We are always greeted with a personal welcome when we arrive at The Wheatsheaf which is lovely. My uncle and I always enjoy the delicious meals here. The home made bread & butter goes down a treat and the freshly prepared food never disappoints. Booking is essential as it is always busy!!

    Fabulous meal, smoked salmon starter was one of the best starters I have ever had, excellent service throughout, would thoroughly recommend a visit.
