The Thomas Egerton pub has an enviable location – right in the centre of the busy village of Egerton, and surrounded by breath-taking moorland countryside.

We hope you will find the Thomas Egerton the perfect place to enjoy our delicious menu featuring superb food cooked to perfection by our talented chefs.

All our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises and great care is taken to ensure that only the finest locally sourced ingredients are used.

This is complemented by an extensive range of cask conditioned beers, guest beers, lagers and ciders as well as fine wines and spirits.

Children 17 and under are welcomed but due to licensing they must vacate the premises by 9pm.

    Called for Sunday lunch which was gorgeous. Lots of yummy vegetables and pink roast beef. All very tasty and well presented. Had the two courses for£23 which was great value. Only issue was that it was a very hot day and there was no aircon in the pub and we were melting. Didn’t ruin the food though and will definitely be returning.

    I usually love The Thomas egerton and especially foe the sunday roast. However the previous two sundays i have been, food took long time to arrive, food wasnt at the beat standard- we ordered the roast beef pink and it wasnt pink we informed the waitress when she came to ask if everything is ok and she just said oh sorry about that and walked away. We were offered desert menu with 20 minds before we had to leave the table. So wouldnt have had tine to eat it. We did have a table booked for next Saturday however after the previous last two visits we have cancelled it and booked elsewhere. We felt very disappointed with the visit and the food.

    We met with friends for a Catch-up meal together. We did wait a while for food to arrive but that didn't bother us as we were chatting while having a drink. The food was delicious & hot I ate everything 😋 we were going to have a sweet but found that to be a bit pricey so we passed.
