   We planned a particular birthday dinner at Opa, some of our family having dined there on a number of occasions in the past few months. They dropped in casually; we planned for the evening at Opa. Food from apperitivo to end was worth the cost; the Flounder grilled and simply dressed was immaculate. 'Ousotinis' were memorably blended. However at the dessert course, we ordered one each of the available two desserts, to share as a finale, with one dessert and ice cream accompaniment arriving quite promptly; the second dessert never arrived - perhaps the maitre d thought we needed to wait for the second, but after we had finished the first dessert and waited quite a time, we formed the view that the second was not going to arrive at all. I therefore paid l'addition happily, but was asked whether were were not going to continue to wait for the second dessert. Of course not - desserts for two people must surely arrive at the same time. Very disappointing - the chef and menu are superb.

   Had a fabulous meal at Opa - restaurant is tastefully decorated in a great location. Food was seriously good - fresh produce and beautifully cooked and presented. Wait staff were fantastic as well - friendly and attentive without being annoying. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes from a well-thought-out menu.

   we dined in as a family of 4. we also prebooked our reservation. when we arrived, we firstly didn't realize that the menu had changed. Apparently, they have now changed the menu for Winter. Not much of a selection. We ordered the trio of dips, 2 x side portions of the pita bread, 2 x kids meals, 1 lamb skewers, and 1 chicken skewers. Very disappointed as for the value it was quite embarrassing. we arrived at the scheduled booking and waited over an hour for our mains to arrive. We were told that when we had ordered, a table of 10 also placed their order. my question was, why didn't they plan properly to accommodate such a large crowd? why did we, as the customer have to wait for our meal - clearly no proper planning from the restaurant. Overall, the experience and food were mediocre. Very disappointed! We had also explained to the gentleman at the till and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry"... We had dined their previously and must say the food was fantastic - hence why we decided to book again. However, we will not be dining there again.

    Usually a favourite in Echuca however recent changes to the menu have likely changed our preference. The open souvlaki, likely the most popular item on the menu, has now been removed and the only close alternative is a meat tray for 2 which does not include any traditional shaved meat is an unaffordable $120!! Although the food was lovely, unfortunately this is not affordable to take the family.
