Situé dans le quartier de Fulton Market, dans la West Loop animée de Chicago, le Formento’s est un restaurant italien imprégné des saveurs vives et fraîches de l'Italie. Fondé en hommage à la grand-mère du propriétaire, « Nonna Formento », il vous propose un large choix de plats allant des pâtes maison aux délicats antipasti, en passant par les steaks et poissons cuits au feu de bois. Sa carte des vins internationale se compose de plus de 600 bouteilles du monde entier. Au Formento’s, la créativité culinaire du Nouveau Monde se marie à la perfection avec les générations passées.                                                                                           I went to Formento's for my birithday dinner and it was the perfect place for my party of 10. They have an upstairs space with about 5-6 round tables so it felt pretty intimate not having too many groups of people around you. The service was great! servers were attentive and organized. The food was really good. I recommend the Carbonara for entree and fritto misto for appetizer.

                                                                                          We always have amazing service and food at Formentos.This time, I had called ahead and asked the new manager, Ben to help me with delivering a surprise to my husband during our meal. They were a huge help and delivered the surprise gift to my husband perfectly. We love this restaurant for our special occasion celebrations as well as a fun date night. The vibe is perfect, the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time dining with them.

                                                                                          The food was outstanding! Grilled octopus appetizer was tender and flavorful. All of us had different pastas and they were great. Highly recommend it. We will be back!

                                                                                          The service was friendly and relatively fast, enjoyed that they have a sommelier as part of their staff! All the pastas were amazing, favorites were the orecchiette and short rib orzo. The side dish cauliflower was very unique, served with pepperoni and a lemon sauce- delicious! I’d highly recommend this place for a nicer dinner

                                                                                          Came in for my birthday dinner with my mom, we absolutely adored the food and service! Huge hits were the Hamachi Crudo, the salmon special, and the Cinque Terre cocktail. Our server was so sweet, she made great recommendations and made sure our dessert (the delightful chocolate cake) came with a birthday candle and adorable sprinkles. Thanks so much for a wonderful birthday dinner!!
