   Had a very nice dinner, mussels and Caesar salad and my husband had their meatloaf which was excellent. Very attentive server!

   We enjoyed a lovely dinner seated on the porch at Bar Zin. Friendly, professional server. Highlights included the "bang bang shrimp," the flash-fried oysters (which are some of the best fried oysters I've ever had anywhere), a grouper special, and the blueberry-lemon dessert. Looking forward to our next dinner at Bar Zin.

   We sat outside and temp was lovely. Hostess/manager very accommodating. Food and wine good overall. The fried calamari was great and the chicken piccata also very good. Shrimp risotto - good but risotto had a lot of celery in it. One of us liked it a lot and the other … didn’t particularly like the celery treatment.

   Our server, Dallas, did an excellent job taking our drink and dinner orders. Everything came out quickly and was properly prepared for our gluten-free friend. The noise level was higher than normal, maybe because of the holoday weekend.

   We won the dining lottery last evening! We had an amazing server, Patrick. We sat in the most peaceful outdoor setting and were graced with perfect weather. And, the reason we visited Bar Zin was for the culinarily experience and Abe the chef didn’t disappoint. My husband selected the specials, a crab chowder, and beautiful beef shoulder for the main. My risotto and salmon was delicately delightful. Thank you, all!

   We’ve always liked Bar Zin. I had shrimp w the risotto since they can’t get scallops & it was very good. Everyone else was happy w their meal. We like the atmosphere at Bar Zin. It’s a comfortable place.
