We have been here about three times now and I’m not sure we would go back with all the other options in the area. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it really wasn’t very great either. I think the sourdough bread is an odd choice for an Italian restaurant, and I found this particular sourdough extremely sour. The Capacio while tasty, is lacking any kind of good vessel but thin crackers are just not very good at all and they would do well to just have a nice buttery Crostini to put the toppings on. I normally Would just use the table bread if I didn’t have Crostini, but the sourdough bread was just so sour, It really didn’t pair with the carpaccio so this left you just to eat the dish with a fork instead of the way it’s Intended, which is an awkward appetizer when sharing the giant kayak sized carpaccio. The chopped salad that we received was extremely bland. The vodka pasta I received was delicious and well done and my server had recommended the breaded chicken, which was good except for it was definitely overcooked and a little bit chewy. My Partners pasta was very basic. My five dollar mango iced tea was good but extremely overpriced for the quality that I received. I went on a Groupon deal so got 30% off, and even with that I felt like we paid too much for what the meal was worth when we could’ve gone to a nice Italian restaurant downtown and paid less and supported local business instead of a big chain. I would not rush back.

Overall everything was great until we got our bill and realized the water we were being served was bottle service. We were only offered sparkling or still and when we said we wanted regular still water, we didn't know we were agreeing to the still bottle service. Which was 8 dollars per bottle! Pretty shady of the servers. I've worked in the industry for years and the server was trying to up the bill for a larger tip. Very disappointed.

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the years. Brio is a great casual restaurant with a great bar. It's a perfect place for lunch or brunch or early evening snacks while shopping at the Mall of Millenia. And over the years my experience has been very positive but I have noticed a decline in service the last two visits. Service was slow, server never checked back after we got our food (until much later) and my salad had dressing when I asked for it on the side. I arrived 5 mins after my party and there were no seasoned flatbread crackers which I enjoy so I asked for crackers which took a while to get and I was charged $1.99 for 3 crackers. I realize the cost of everything is going up, but I have noticed protein portion sizes decrease and the entree and appetizer prices are already pretty high.

Fantastic food as usual. We had the ravioli di bello and the chicken Marsala. Our waitress was prompt to provide service - bar drinks we well made. Serving size was ample - and the food served hot and flavor full. We highly recommend Brio for a relaxing wonderful meal.
