   We booked through Open Table, received confirmation and a reminder. When we arrived, the Hotel was closed and had been since Christmas. No message of explanation on the door, no notice on their site. They had not updated their details, so bookings were still being taken. Table for 8 people! Another couple also arrived expecting to eat! Very slack. If this is their commitment to easy booking, I won't give them the opportunity to cater food for us. Not good enough, I can't imagine how poor the rest of their customer service would be. Don't bother with this place.

   I booked this online some time ago and arrived on time to find the Hotel wasn’t even open. Quite a few others arrived at the same time unaware it was closed. My friend and I decided to go to another pub near by, we hadn’t seen each other for 55 years. We had a pleasant lunch and returned to my car parked on Pultney street to find a Parking Fine….$300!!! This ruined our day and has left a really bad memory of our experience. Obviously the site you use isn’t reliable and has resulted in a very expensive experience. Needless to say I would never use this site or visit Adelaide again. Anal Adelaide is all I can say, and I am extremely angry.

   Staff were lovely. Food was good. Hardly anyone there on a Saturday lunch and therefore quiet and relaxed. Stayed for a few hours.

   Great menu - some really great Asian fusion options Prices are really reasonable If you enjoy LLaw on King William Road, this is your pub version

   The Rob Roy has changed owners recently, such a massive improvement, food was fantastic, staff lovely. Take no notice of any reviews older than 2 months! If you've eaten here before and vowed never to eat at the Rob Roy again then I'd say try it again give the new team a chance and you won't be disappointed.

   Really enjoyed our evening. Nice easy going feel, good service and interesting and tasty menu. Definitely will come back again!

   Food was undercooked. Wait time was ridiculous. Didn't have half of the advertised menu items and drinks options.

   Sorry, We didn't enjoy the music, just not our thing and we had to yell over the top to have a conversation. However the food was sensational!!!

    Unfortunately we must have picked a bad Saturday night. We went to the Rob Roy to have the Atlantic Salmon and M6 Black Angus Scotch Fillet. The salmon was not on the menu (but it was on the menu on the website) and the Black Angas steak was not available...on a Saturday night and it's their most expensive meal item. My first drink choice was a glass of the Rymill Dark Horse, and guess what? They didn't have any of that in stock. This is a pub and restaurant for crying out aloud. We sat so close to the singer and acoustic guitar (both of which were miked up with amp) in a small room. This is not a knock on the talent of the artist but really? 15 feet from guests and you need a microphone and amp in a venue only about 30 feet long and 25 feet wide? We enjoyed it when he took a break from singing. Attention to detail and managing your website and food and drink stock, should be a higher priority than what it seems to be given at this point.
