   Our experience is an echo of what many others have said and experienced. The food was ok, not worth the price and nothing I would ever go back for. We made a reservation for two and were seated immediately dispite a fullish house, it was my for my birthday. Our server was kind, informative, and gave great suggestions but it was obvious that there was enough help as she would disappear for long stretches without ever checking on us (not her fault). We ordered the oysters and fois gras toast as apps. The oysters were tiny and weren’t chucked/cleaned properly (mouth full of sand) and the toast was tiny and overpriced (~30 for two bite sized pieces). Then came the mains. We had gotten the short rib which still had the impossible to eat piece of membrane attached to it (ruined the eating experience imo) and the bland mushroom fried rice which was very forgettable. We ended the night with a free piece of ice cream cake which was the highlight of the entire meal. It had depths of flavor and really helped make up for the rest of the meal. The ambiance was loud and busy. It was a pretty full house and the tables are placed closed together so it would have been very easy to listen in on those around us if it wasn’t for the loud blaring music blasting. I didn’t think the music matched the atmosphere unless you wanted a side of headache to go with your meal. Overall a very lackluster experience that was only saved by the server (who tried her best) and dessert. We left a 20% tip because we knew it was our servers lack of trying but because she was obviously overwhelmed.

   Overall the customer service was quite attentive and professional. In terms of the food standards, it didn’t have the wow factor to fetch a high price point. The portions are good but lacking the taste that will keep me coming. It is a relatively good place for a sit down to chat

   Pears was great! Great music, ambience and delicious food! Very downtown Toronto vibes in Markham, such a great addition to our little city.

   Very beautiful restaurant and very flavourful dishes and drinks. On the pricey side. Enough to satisfy yoir palette but not for a big eater. My drink was substituted for another that was available however it came very very small like a couple sips worth. I was graciously made another drink( flavour was a surprise though lol luckily it was still very good )

   Great cocktails and exciting menu. Food was tasty, some dishes were a little too saucy. Service was excellent, Tracy and Maya made the vibe top notch.

   The spicy taro drink made quite a statement with its powerful kick, leaving a lasting impression that lingers on the taste buds. The bone marrow dish exuded a delightful rustic charm, captivating both the palate and the soul with its rich and savoury flavours. And let's not forget the rib eye - moist, tender, and simply divine; each bite was a symphony of perfection.

   the waiter service is friendly and helpful . the food quality is good and the price is a bit high. the Taro salad is good and new taste. the Lobster mapo tofu, is tasty but nothing exceptional the Fois Gras toaste is soft and melt but price is high

   Food was fantastic! We sat at the bar. Bartender was not very attentive to follow-up on order taking, more drinks etc. and he kept trying to remove our glasses and dishes while there was clearly still drink/food left. Clearly a no no and very basic 1.01 training.

    It was very enjoyable everything we ordered was very tasty and well presented. Our waiter Jeff was very friendly and gave a description of the most popular menu choices such as the KFC sliders, lobster wontons etc. Some amazing totally different cocktails that's created by their bartender. The atmosphere and decor is very chic and expensive looking. The menu is quite expensive but the choices are one of a kind!
