New kid on the block, Betel Boy is serving you inspired pan asian food & cocktails in a contemporary and energetic venue, located on the iconic main street of Daylesford, Victoria. At the helm, Head Chef Chris combines thoughtfully sourced ingredients supplied by regional growers with his talent for Thai flavours and the result is some truly delicious fair. Sticky Bao Buns, drunk dumplings, sour salads top the menu. Wash it down with a Daylesford beer on tap, a cheeky cocktail or choose from the extensive wine list featuring local growers. Step in and be seduced by the vibe and surrounds of a considered space and service that makes you feel like you’ve been going there for years. Afterwards you can slip out the back to Boy-Bar, where the music is a little louder and the cocktails a little stronger.

I could not recommend Betel Boy more highly. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service and ambience were second to none. We chose the set menu and were more than happy with our choice. It was a dining experience we will never forget. Thanks so much to Jordan and the staff for making us feel welcome and really looking after us. Five stars.

The best, most delicious Massaman(?) curry I have ever had! Divine beef brisket, chat potatoes in a delectable curry sauce. Betel Boy also had a spectacular array of their own cocktails, with a large number on their dessert menu - more cocktails than desserts actually! This is heaven to me as I love a delicious digestive for dessert. I tried 2 , one before dinner, The Liar & one for dessert, Talk To Me. I LOVED them both! The glassware was beautiful, the lighting perfect & it was very easy for my friend & I to hear ourselves talk. This is my new favourite restaurant❤️‍🔥

Great experience. Friendly staff. Cool interiors and ambience definitely leaning more to bar/club vibe. Lovely food especially if you like it spicy. Good value for money considering what other restaurants near charge.

We enjoyed our dinner experience at Betel Boy. We shared 4 dishes from the small plate's part of the menu, and they were all well-presented and delicious. I would love to try the other dishes. The staff, food, ambiance and menu/drink choices all contributed to making dining out in Betel Boy a memorable experience. While it was a busy night, the thoughtful use of lighting provided an intimate feel to our evening.

We absolutely loved the food and the staff were fabulous. Our only criticism would be the music was so loud we could barely hear ourselves talk .
