   What a fun night we had touring the newly renovated 11 Experience Hotel, followed by a yummy three course meal at the Quartermaster. The renovations have elevated the hotel and the guests’ overall experience. From the stylish, mountain suites to the fabulous third floor lounge, bar and rooftop deck complete with a sauna and steam room. A basement speakeasy, gym and massage rooms complete the hotel. Winter heli ski guests and summer guests will be well taken care of. A special thank you for the double birthday bubbles 🥂🥂

   I’ve been coming to Quartermaster since 2017, back when it was lively, warm, and full of character. It had that rare mix of good food, a great vibe, and a connection to the community that made it feel special. We’d been saving our first visit to the newly remodeled version for a while — decided to go with family in town and a group of close friends. We were genuinely excited to see what they’d done with the place. But it quickly became clear it’s not what it used to be. The space went from vibrant and chic to dark and gloomy — more old-school steakhouse than downtown gem. Maybe that’s the Eleven Group vibe? The service was kind, which I appreciated. But the food and drinks didn’t hold up: the steak was small and full of gristle, the cocktails were cleverly named but overpriced and bland, and the Caesar salad was oddly plated, with a whole runny egg that drowned out everything else. I’ve heard similar things from a lot of locals. It’s a familiar pattern: something real gets discovered, refined, and rebranded until there’s not much left to love. Luckily, we’ve got better options in town. Here’s hoping Quartermaster finds its way back to what made it great in the first place — and that the folks at Eleven don’t sink the ship.

   I prefer the original Quartermaster. The new decor seems a bit stuffy - like an old fashion man's club. The food was very good. The service was OK. Didn't feel like our patronage was appreciated. I am a local and it might be a good idea to value the local guests, not just the wealthy tourists.

   Maddison took great care of us. The Seared Duck Breast was delicious. As was Steak Salad. Delicious deserts finished off a lovely evening at Quartermaster. Definitely back on next trip !

   We had a very good dinner at the Quartermaster. Atmosphere, service and food all were very good. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner out.

   A warm and cozy night out after a great day of skiing. The interiors made us feel right at home, the food was hot and delicious. Our server was lovely and the night with friends was one to remember.
