    I took my fiancée to Tre Dita with some friends for her 28th birthday, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere was perfect. The pasta (especially the Linguine al Limone and Rigatoncini all’Arrabbiata) were a hit, and the 16oz NY Strip Steak was seasoned and cooked perfection. The drinks were on point, and the service was five-star: super friendly and attentive. A great spot for a special night out. We’ll definitely be back!

    Tre Dita—located inside the stunning St. Regis hotel—is the only restaurant in the U.S. to receive official Tuscan certification… and WOW, do they ever live up to it! 🇮🇹✨ With key ingredients imported straight from Tuscany and pasta hand-rolled fresh daily, every bite was a dream. The ambiance? Gorgeous. Our waiter? Incredibly knowledgeable—he walked us through each dish, its ingredients, and exactly how it was prepared. Hands down, one of the most unforgettable meals I’ve ever had. Every course was perfection. I may have moaned and whispered OMG more than once. No regrets. 😍🍷🍝

    We had high expectations for Tre Dita as a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant and for its association with the St. Regis. We were mistaken on both. The pasta was exceptional, the room was very nice, but that was about it. The view is less amazing than you’d think as it’s situated on the second floor and largely over a green astroturf ceiling above the valet. Our server was curt and seemed pained to be there. She was the anecdote to any enthusiasm in the experience for us for what should be fine dining and all there within. I sat with my chair angled because the table was crammed so tightly in a nook that half my back rested against a wall plate for a fire extinguisher. It just all was not what it should have been. The bussers were extraordinarily attentive. Aside from that, this was a ubiquitous Marriott restaurant with just the thinnest veneer of sophistication. Try any other Lettuce restaurant for a much better experience.

    We came on a date here to celebrate my birthday. We got seated at a window booth overlooking Navy Pier in the main dining room. Our server Levi made our experience exceptional! Levi made our time there memorable with some of the best service we have received. From his thorough explanations of the menu, to his attentiveness for all of our dining needs without being overbearing, Levi was the highlight of Tre Dita. The ambiance of Tre Dita is visually stunning as well with the high ceiling & floor to ceiling windows with wood beams, it really feels like a luxurious place to be in. The food left much to be desired here. If I could describe the food in one word at Tre Dita it would be mediocre. The Focaccia was good but not anything to write home about. It almost tasted like eating an unglazed donut (Id recommend Coda di Volpe for your focaccia needs). We were unimpressed by the hand rolled pasta that lacked balance and flavor, was quite disappointing considering Tre Dita is a Tuscan hand certified pasta place.The Cacio e Pepe was overwhelmingly just pepper & the noodles were too dense. Most of the other pastas had a similar story: they either lacked flavor in the sauce, had bland noodles or were overpowered by one ingredient (Our favorite was the gnudi di spinaci w/morsels). Nothing particularly wowed us here; nothing I’d come back for: just good not great. The desserts were equally as disappointing. The tiramisu is not a traditional tiramisu, but rather more of a coffee parfait. It was essentially an espresso cream with wet lady fingers— one unbalanced flavor. The olive oil cake had an odd consistency and reminded me of an airier corn bread. And the people next to us who ordered the Pistachio cake took one bite and were disappointed. Drinks were also, just fine. Fireworks can be seen from select few tables which we were able to see (not worth a trip here for that). All in all: Levi made the service amazing, the dining room is gorgeous, & the food is just okay.

    Tre Dita is one of two of my favorite Italian restaurants in Chicago. Great views of the downtown skyline and Lake Michigan, stellar coordinated service and phenomenal house made pasta, Tre Dita is the indestructible trifecta. Among 4 of the pasta dishes I've tried, each one blew me away. The quality, taste, presentation all pass with flying colors. I simply cannot pick a favorite. You must make a reservation to try this phenomenal restaurant out yourself.

    Absolutely perfect. From arrival to departure. Food exceeded expectations. Location was stunning. Service was perfect and attentive, but not overwhelming. Absolutely would recommend and visit again.
