   The steak was overly salty with a strong burnt taste, and the tomatoes didn’t seem fresh. The fries were also too salty. This was the restaurant I looked forward to the most in Banff, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

   Overrated place. I ordered the mushroom rissoto it was over cooked and mushy. No mushroom flavor just white wine. Too much white wine. Our drinks came after the apps and the refills were slow and late.

   Our server, I believe Rueben was the name on the bill, was fantastic! Everything from the service, recommendations to the food were amazing. We came for my husband’s birthday but I had a few restrictions because I’m pregnant. Will definitely be back!

   Good prime rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding. Cordial service. Cozy outdoor terrace was a plus.

   Food was fantastic, but restaurant must have thought it was still winter with the fireplace still ablaze and we were a good distance away from it.

   The staff were great and very friendly, which we appreciated. However, I doubt the 8 oz steak was truly 8 oz, and overall, the portion sizes were extremely small. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry, which is disappointing—especially considering the high bill. For the price, we expected more generous servings. Please consider increasing the portion sizes to provide better value for your guests.

   Bluebird is a good restaurant but not something I’d go back to. Protein portions are small and we sat right next to other people. Food was good but it is expensive especially for the quantity. For examples, we were only given 3 scallops for our appetizer and they were considerably smaller than most scallops I’ve had. Strip Steak was prepared and seasoned well but the meat was extremely fatty.

    Went for my 29th birthday and walked in to the entire team signing a card for me which was SO sweet! The happy hour fondue was perfect for sharing and the NY stripe was just the icing on the cake, drinks were amazing and our server was super friendly and on POINT!! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
