   As always, a lovely visit to Hinnie's. Lovely, attentive, friendly waiting staff, amazing food, faultless service. Can't recommend highly enough.

   Overall yet another great experience in this friendly restaurant. Only let down by the fish fritter that was nearing the end of its shelf life and the limited menu choice due to reported supply issues due to the bank holiday. Been to this restaurant a good few times now and have always been impressed with the Service and Quality of food. Don't let this review put you off as this was only a minor blip in what is usually an outstanding experience.

   What a find this place is - excellent quality food with great service. Geordie comfort food it truly is and will always be my first port of call when I am in the area. Food just like me Granny used to make xxx

   The food was lush. The service was outstanding. The set menu was a great deal (generous portions of excellently prepared food). It was our first visit and we've already planned our return!

   The menu was just about the right size; the restaurant had a very nice ambience and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The food itself was extremely good

   Really enjoyed another fantastic Sunday lunch at hinnies, my 4 year old loves Hinnies and the staff make dining there a lovely experience

   Lovely meal for 6 friends and perfect table by the window - light & quiet area. Interesting set menu - plenty of choice and I could have eaten any of them. Only downside: although we were seated before 7.30, and ordered fairly quickly, we waited awfully long time for food to be served. It was worth waiting for, but sadly just took too long.

   This was one of my favourite restaurants in Whitley Bay but something has changed. Maybe it was because there were two very large parties in and it was extremely noisy, the food was OK but nothing special, menu was interesting as usual and the service was good. I’m not writing it off just yet but not rushing back either.

    We have eaten at Hinnies on numerous occasions over the years and this is the first time that we have had a slightly disappointing experience. There were three of us in the party and we all ordered traditional Sunday roasts, which did not arrive at our table hot. While the food was flavoursome the temperature of said food was, at best, tepid. My wife did mention this fact to a member of staff but it seemed to go unheard. Nothing was said, or done, to improve our experience. On the basis we did not leave our normal 10% gratuity. We anticipate a better experience next time or we will dine elsewhere in the future.
